Who gets the blame?

Honestly, who gets the blame for all the final drive chokes as time expires? It seems like thats how we loose every game. Is it Williams, Fraizer, Players? I just want someone to be mad at I guess.

terrible defensive scheme. Frazier all the way for implementing this after the first roasting we got at Chicago.

Short and simple answer? Everyone involved with the defense.

That's not just the short, simple answer, it's the correct answer!

Amazing, isn't it?
I think that's five choke losses, right? Or is it four, and Pittsburgh was almost five? No ... it's four plus the tie against Green Bay, so we might as well say five.
Holy cow. Hold all five leads, and we're 8-5 -- and leading the NFC North.
I need a drink.

For what it's worth, the offense this year has not done as bad as some might think. The defense has had some issue's. However, we have some young D players who over the season appeared to be getting better. We shall see next year. I was thinking about how this team stacked up to other Viking teams over the past few years in scoring. This is what I came up with. Please note, this is being put as "team" scoring. We know some may be more accountable then others for scoring on both sides of the ball.
Code: Select all
Year Off. PPG Def. PPG
2009 29.4 19.5
2003 26.0 22.1
2004 25.3 24.7
2013 24.2 30.4
2012 23.7 21.8
2008 23.7 20.8
2007 22.8 19.4
2011 21.3 28.1
2005 19.1 21.5
2006 17.6 20.4
2010 17.6 21.8

Lack of execution!!!
This prevent that Williams and Fraizer run EVERY GAME that the score is close, doesn't work. Its hasn't yet. And they keep doing it. That's the definition of insanity. Don't blame the players for lack of 'execution'.

I think that's correct: Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Baltimore and the tie at GB.

Unbelievable, eh? Coaches must age an extra 5 years after every loss like that.

This specific game (Ravens) is to be blamed on officiating and the Tampa 2 defense.

Line up everyone from the GM to the coaching staff and all the players. Close your eyes and point. Your guarenteed to find one of the reasons for the complete disaster that is the MN Vikings this year.
