Brett Favre's agent believes he could "play today," and that he's "in the best shape I've ever seen him in, physically."

"His arms look like a blacksmith's arms," Bus Cook said Monday. "He rides a bike probably 30-50 miles a day. He runs four or five miles a day. He's coaching at the high school and they're undefeated. He loves it. His body fat is 7.5 percent and he weighs 225 pounds. He could play today, better than a lot of them out there today." It's unclear if Cook is describing Favre or The Most Interesting Man In The World. Either way, Favre's playing days are through, though he could probably give Blaine Gabbert a run for his money in Jacksonville. Favre turns 44 in August.

It's cool he's riding a bike...cause he would need to be on one, or at least a unicycle, to escape defenders anymore.

I would welcome him in an instant as OC. He'd probably make one heck of a head coach some day too.

Biking 50 miles a day and running 5 miles a day at his age. Not possible.

I say bring him in when we get back from London at 0-4 and let him lead us to a 12-4 season

For what it's worth he turns 44 on 10/10 (not August). Same day as my bday.

Disagree. I can do 50 miles in about 2.5 hours. And I am 55. I can also do about 10 miles on roller blades no problem.

Oh how differently we feel about our team today compared to that day...Those were good times I'm glad I didn't know then what would follow over the coming weeks and years
