Good article. Worth the read.
Mike Singletary believes Erin Henderson can be nasty at MLB. Now he just needs to play under control:

“Erin’s a really bright guy,” Singletary said. “But he has a nasty temperament about him. And I like that. He can get ticked off. And he has an ability to use that to come up big.”

Without even reading it, I just want to say that I've read a lot of good things about Henderson the last couple of months. A lot. This is probably more of the same. I hope he proves it out there on the field and puts people's minds at ease. :v):

Though a bit skeptical, I'm cautiously optimistic. I think it matters what your expectations are. He's not going to be Patrick Willis or Brian Urlacher, so expecting that is going to set people up for disappointment. Having said that, here's my worry: his ceiling is going to be lower than his brother (in his prime). That's not saying he's going to suck. A healthy EJ was one of my favorite players on defense and was a boarderline pro-bowler for a few years (most notably the 2006-2007 seasons).

I expect Erin to be above-average in run defense (though, again, I'll be surprised if he reaches EJ's level in that role), and probably below average in pass defense, though he might surprise. I saw a Tweet yesterday that Rudolph beat him on a deep pass but he ripped it out of his hands and took it the other way.

Again, it all depends on your expectations. I'm hoping for more of an asset than liability and better production/results than Brinkley.

I'm glad he has Singletary has a mentor, I certainly think that will help him reach whatever his ceiling may be.

Aren't you supposed to be nasty and angry at MLB? Put me out there and I'll be angry as F.

Doesn't mean Erin or myself is a good MLB. We really need to address this in the draft next year.
