Relevant. And insightful.

NFL Myth-busting: Elite Running Backs Battle Eight-in-the-Box Defenses
Myth No. 2: Elite Running Backs Usually Face Eight-in-the-Box Defenses Because No One Respects Their QB
No matter which numbers you believe, the fact is no defense is loading the box even half the time against top running backs. It’s just not a realistic strategy to employ often in the NFL.

Very interesting read. We really benefit from Felton, his blocking helps to turn those 8 man boxes into huge gains for Peterson.

There never was such a myth, but I suppose that if you invent one, you have the grist for an offseason column. Yes, the term is used often, but that doesn't mean that anyone believes any team faced 8-in-the-box more than half the time.

I don't know about half of the time but I know Peterson faces 8 man fronts a lot

I think 9-10 in the box at time.

30% still means around 1 play every set of downs which sounds about right...
