Gerald Hodges - LB - Vikings

Vikings agreed to terms with No. 120 overall pick LB Gerald Hodges on a four-year contract.

A pure outside 'backer, Hodges is currently penciled in on the weak side for Minnesota. Hodges is not an elite athlete (4.78 40-yard dash), but has adequate size (6-foot-1, 243 pounds) and is a strong tackler. He could develop into a multi-year starter.

Michael Mauti - LB - Vikings

Vikings agreed to terms with No. 213 overall pick LB Michael Mauti on a four-year contract.

Mauti is recovering from the second tear of his left ACL in as many years, but "absolutely" expects to be ready for training camp. He was viewed as a potential day-two pick before going down last November. Mauti is considered a dark-horse candidate for the Vikings' middle linebacker job, but will most likely be limited to special teams as a rookie if he can avoid the reserve/PUP list.

Everett Dawkins - DL - Vikings

Vikings agreed to terms with No. 229 overall pick DT Everett Dawkins on a four-year contract.

A 41-game starter for Florida State, Dawkins has some pocket-pushing ability, but should see limited snaps as a rotational three-technique tackle if he can crack the 53-man roster. Dawkins is most likely ticketed for the practice squad.

Travis Bond - G - Vikings

Vikings agreed to terms with No. 214 overall pick OG Travis Bond on a four-year contract.

Bond is an imposing 6-foot-5, 329 pounds with 35.5-inch arms, but is limited athletically. He managed just a 22.5-inch vertical leap at the Combine to go along with an 8-foot-2 broad jump. He'll have to prove he's more than just a big body to earn a roster spot.

Jeff Locke - P - Vikings

Vikings agreed to terms with No. 155 overall pick P Jeff Locke on a four-year contract.

Chris Kluwe's replacement, Locke was an All-Pac 12 selection for UCLA last season, and has a booming leg on kickoffs. He should fare well in climate-controlled Minnesota.
