How Many Yards Will AD Get This Year

If he stays healthy and his O line, RB's, TE's and WR's block well for him he could get 2000-2200 yards with a run heavy offense. On the other hand if Ponder can click with our WR's and TE's and get a decent passing game going, I see AD getting about 1700-1800 yards.

I'd like to see another 2,000+ year. Would be the first ever to do it back to back. It'll be tough because everyone will see him coming weeks away.

I am saying 1400 on the low end and 1800 on the high end. Then again, with Adrian you never know. For all we know, the guy could break the single game rushing record on any given sunday, much less the rushing record in any given season.

I care about how many receiving TD's we get this year. And W's.

Depends on Ponder and the passing game.

AD was a 1,300-yard rusher in '09, the last time we had a passing attack worth a damn. If we can throw better, we can take pressure off of Peterson, and his yards will likely go down.

If not, don't be surprised to see him either demolish the single-season record ... or get hurt.

The sky is the limit. I don't think the game plan will change as far as the number of carries he gets per game. Jennings, Rudolph, and whoever else we bring in at WR will help distract that 8th or 9th guy we have had in the box the last few years. Regardless, Adrian ran for 2K+ last year while running into a full box. Time will only tell

It should change if they get the passing game on track. And while Peterson is still in his prime, he's getting to an age where the Vikings need to start thinking about him having a productive 10 or 11 year career with the Vikings rather than an 8 or 9 year career.

Question is, even with fewer out of the box you have to think we will be throwing the ball more with GJ and new toys at WR. That will mean fewer chances for AP and he is definitely a famine, famine, feast type runner so he needs all the chances he can get.
