I figure an earlier game because of the weather factor..

I am thinking the Oct game against the Panthers this year (October 13th I think)

After the bye week not to late in the year (will have to chance the weather)

Another game that might work is the Browns game..

should be a win , I think its the third week of the season

Browns game sounds like a winner then..

Damn really wanted to make it to a game for the last season in the dome but unless circumstances change substantially, it doesn't look like it's in the cards. I'll shoot for making a game in the new stadium I guess.

What does this "party" consist of? Meeting up and saying hi?

Either way, by the looks of the very few responses, your "party" is going to be tiny.

I, for one, want to see this "Demi" character in person...just for one minute until I walk away very, very quickly to avoid catching any of the negative attitude. LOL. Just playin', Demi.

Melanie I have come a few times to Minnesota and met people from the room ..

We will try and tailgate and have some beers or Jello shots and talk about the Vikings

and get to know each other. I walk around a little too. There is usually a few things going

on in the tail gates. Ziggy Wilf comes through the parking lot and shakes hands once in

a while. Some ex players are around signing things. Vikings Fans tend to be very cool

I have sat and had adult beverages with people I didn't even know and just talked about

the team.

I get it. I've done this sort of thing, too. But, I met people from WeAreVikingsFans.com. Hanging out with CheeseFree and Diggz is the best. Anyways, I get it. I just hope more people show up for your little VMB get together. I'll be at the Browns game, but not sure if I'll stop by. I don't know anyone well enough to bother. The weather should be great, and I love walking around and checking everything out...so we'll see!

And yes, the Vikings fans who attend the games are freaking awesome. I've had some of the best memories with complete strangers. At the draft party, I sat and talked with this lawyer from Florida for hours. We were pals by the end! We never exchanged information or anything, but he comes to all of the draft parties so I'll have to attend next year and go find him! lol Actually attending the games and other Vikings events is really what makes being a fan special. I love going so much because it's much better to be surrounded by thousands of people who "get it" rather than screaming at my TV alone at my place. lol. I love people who get it! I love all the purple fans! I can't wait to go back and see all my purple people! There are more Bears and Packers fans here than anything. Blah.

I think my youngest boy is coming with me (18 in January)....

I tried to get the whole room to come to the first one (November 4th 2007) Vikings vs SD

that's right the 296 Game and I was sitting next to Kansas Mike for that one..


I hope twenty people show up, but in the end its up to them and I will have a great time
