One of my idiot friends thinks that Arian Foster is as valuable on the Texans as AP is on the Vikings.

Seriously, I think he's a moron but tell us your unbiased opinion.

Yep, he's a moron. Without AP, we would be like 3-13. The Texans still have a great QB and a superior offense. Not to mention AP is just way better overall.

Foster is a great one, there's no doubting that. But if we're comparing him (or any running back) to Adrian, there's no discussion.

Arian Foster has some skill for sure, but is largely a system back. Kubiak runs the same scheme, Mike Shanahan ran in Denver. Foster, Tate, Forsett all look good in that scheme, so although Foster is better out of the 3, if they lost him, their running game would still work.

I guess I can see why someone might think that but he's wrong.

Arian Foster is an incredible back and true professional. But AP is on another level.

Let's see Arian Foster put that entire Texans team and haul it on his back into the playoffs. Against the toughest schedule in the league over the last 4 games. With a younger and more erratic version of Matt Schaub without any reliable weapons besides one young tight end. And nearly break an "unbreakable" record in the process. AND when making a comeback from a bad ACL injury a year before.

Still unbelievable. Doesn't even matter how far they get in the playoffs, the last few games were pretty satisfying. Anything more is a bonus.
