Well of course you can't guarantee anything but here are my predictions (well more like my dream)

We stick with Ponder if we make the playoffs. If not we go out and sign some old QB like Matt Hasselback.

Draft a WR in 1st round. CB in 2nd round. OL in 3rd Round DT in 4th round(and sign one in FA) and then BPA.

Sign a WR like Bowe or Jennings.

For our home games:
Chicago- W 1-0
Detroit- W 2-0
Green Bay- L 2-1
Philadelphia- W 3-1
Washington- W 4-1
Cleveland- W 5-1
Pittsburgh- W 6-1
NFC South(most likely Ain'ts)- L if Sean Payton is coach 6-2

Road games:
Chicago- W 7-2
Detroit- W 8-2
Green Bay- L 8-3
Dallas- L 8-4
N.Y. Giants- L 8-5
Baltimore- L 8-6
Cincinnati- W 9-6
NFC West (loser of the SNF game this week. Going with 49ers)- W 10-6

Couple of these games can change. Like Dallas, Giants, Ravens, and Redskins. And of course this WAY to early to predict what will happen. Lets just focus on beating the Packers this week :D

I think fans hoping for a big WR free agent signing are setting themselves up for disappointment. Spielman has shown he wants to build via the draft and not pay top dollar for top tier free agents. They'll likely target second and third tier guys in free agency. The Vikings have a good deal of cap space so they may make a bigger splash than before but some of that (hopefully) goes to Harvin.

Super Bowl, baby!!!!
Draft a WR in the seventh round?! I think we need to get a WR in the first or second round. That is the position that needs the most additions right now.

I agree. A WR should be picked in R1 or R2.

And thankfully there is no way the Vikings will sign Favre, Moss, and TO.

Without a change at QB run there will never be a super bowl run!

Vick or Smith or Rivers or etc!!! A guy with proven starting experience!

A few flaws, i'll just point out 1. This coaching staff and Spielman do not know QB or WR talent. Wright is the exception. but even I wanted him, esp. if we got him in the 4th.

What he's shown in free agency, is that he will toss big money at garbage. He could have gotten a WR, for a tad more than he gave Carlson. I agree it's a fools game trying to build through FA, but it isn't any more smart throwing money at stiffs, just to say you did.

All super bowl runs are on hold in these parts, until the most important position in sports is addressed.

1. Draft Barkley, by any means necessary.
2. Sign Jennings
3. Resign Harvin
4. Draft multiple LBs, see what shakes out.
5. Draft a K, well, it worked well this year. :D

I would be VERY surprised if Ponder isn't the starting QB next year. Unless he has an absolutely dreadful game tomorrow or has a bad offseason or gets injured.

I think he'll start even if he has a horrible game against the Packers. I think he'll be benched by game 3 next season if he carries it over to 2013 though.

If he starts next season and plays like he has the last 3 weeks, I suspect they'll give him some latitude but a lot will depend on what kind of moves they make this offseason, at QB and elsewhere.

2, 3, and 4 are GTG.
5 must be a joke.
1 proves you're a Viking hater in purple clothes.

Please..... NO QBs from USC!
