Correct, he realized it and got the hell out of there before he was exposed. Definitely no thanks on gruden.

Most of the stuff I've seen on this says Gruden likes the booth and enjoys being home with his kids more than he was as a coach. Peter King said on PTI about this Raiders rumor that he doesn't expect Gruden to take a coaching job for at least 4-5 years, if ever.
