OMG, I hope they suspend the crew that did this game. They didn't stop the clock during a measurement, and it was reviewed and they didn't correct it!!!
THEN in OT, STL had the ball, and there was about 30 seconds left. They got a pass play, and SF took their time getting up (of course) and everyone got set, and then the refs decided the ball was in the wrong spot so they moved it back three yards. WTF??? Was this a replacement crew? If I was the coaches for these teams, I would be livid.

Oh, and to make things worse, the game ended in a TIE.

Good thing the regular refs blew the calls or this would be a real issue.

LOL! It should be a real issue anyway. It's a good example of why the NFL is right to want some extra crews, so when a crew blows it this badly, they can be suspended and there's a qualified crew to replace them.

I still think they should put more officials on the field. Even one more body would help immensely, IMO.

Maybe they're reluctant to crowd the field with more bodies?

Some problems (especially clock-related problems) could easily be addressed by a booth official, who wouldn't need to be on the field at all.
