Keeping Peterson is big, in my opinion. Forget for a second that he's an all-time great and still probably the best RB in the NFL; he's -- at the very least -- still a productive back. Getting rid of him only opens another void that needs to be filled. Obviously, the opportunity cost is that instead of filling another void, we have to use what could be value at another position, on a running back.

Then comes into play what I alluded to at first. He's the best RB in the game! The offense is undoubtedly better with him out there.

I'll agree on both counts. I would prefer Jeron Johnson to Mays, but I like Mays as a sub package player.

My feelings on Johnson are in line with yours.

Right?
I saw this earlier this morning too. Most of the info from this particular fortune cookie seems to have mostly been buried by the much bigger tarot cards that keep trying to push the AP >Dallas theory.

After fully reading everything the way it looks, what I am getting out of it Anyway, is I am willing to bet.... hang on a sec lemme look at something.........OK, I am willing to bet the $4.16, the Heath bar mini, a pin of Jake from Adventure time and this random micro SD card (not sure what's on it But could be any number of really cool things from naked pics of Bea Arthur to an uploaded copy of the Pat Boone album "metal Moods") in my pocket that Zygi and Mark are making Kevin Warren show up and apologize or at least a forced "genuine" discussion with them and AP at the next "get together".

Which I wouldn't be upset or agitated about at all so...

But this just what's going on my head with this. And it's a very mixed up unorganized cheap circus with a few holes in the tent during a rain storm up there so....take what u will from it at your own discretion.

The Vikings are trying to move Cordarrelle Patterson, but there's A REASON (he can't learn the offense).

He told me you are describing the old 'grizzle' test, which determines how grizzly a guy is based on the long held belief that chest hair determines some inner quality of manhood and potential for valor. Evidently, because of advances in analytical science, that sentiment has gone the way of the flat earth theory.
---
The 'Gristle Test', named after the mysterious stuff you find in meat that resists all attempts at mastification, determines a prospects 'rubbery tougness'.
They test for it in 2 specific ways:
--
1) They bend each of the prospects major joints in the wrong direction to the point he can no longer bear it and measure the degree attained. (that's where the calipers are used) That is follwed by measuring the rate at which it snaps back upon being released.
---
2) They drop the prospect from 3 specific heights above the field (artificial turf is preferred for basic continuity) and measure how high he bounces.
--
All these numbers are then plugged into a complicated formula for the final 1-100 computation. THE ACTUAL FORMULA IS TRADE SECRET.
--
Sorry for the long post...but I didn't want to be reponsible for reporting false info.
OHHHHH! OK I see. ...uhoh Oh man! This is all starting to come together now. It's starting to make sense.

....I think I have it. The Formula. It's not my fault though, I never knew, I was just born with it...

Image

....this totally explains why all of these "Dolphins" people are following me around, hiding in my bushes.
I was once even leaving the beach, and I swore it was Mike Wallace, followed me. When I finally got to my car he stopped and just looked at me with these EYES, and then pointed at me and ran his finger across his throat.
Very weird, But I just figured it was cause I was wearing a Vikings T-shirt and crossed out and wrote CHILDRESS OWNZ over his name on the dolphins Jersey the bar we were at had on the wall.

But when like 4 art deco blue and orange suv's started sitting outside my house and the weird phone calls in the night (heavy breathing, "we know you have it!") ..........man, I never should have yelled "Laces out!"

It sounds like the Vikes are basically willing to listen if a team is interested in acquiring Patterson, which is as it should be. There's no harm in listening.

Wha!? You think?......

I'm actually totally behind and all about this kid. He's got it, just needs to figure out how to use it. He's like one of the X-Men to Zimmers Prof.X Academy.

I think He'll show up this season. Plus I just a sucker for any "I'm gonna fix it and rock" attitude. He WANTS to be here, to be a VIKING. And it looks as if many are convinced he worked it hard and did everything plus some this offseason to fix the problem. So.. let him show what he learned.

I don't think He's going to show up Fitzgerald or totally outright embarrass cornerbacks this year. But. He DOES have the ability AND the attitude/mindset to be that eventually. Absolutely.

I'd go with any player that genuinely WANTS to be a VIKING with the will to accept/correct his own issues. I'd take that dude over ANY top 10 player who will accept any team with the biggest contract or "best chance at a Ring" Any day!

Ugh, not one thing in the universe of football that irks and disgusts me more than the "sign with team with best chance at a ring" " (he) singularly, deserves a ring, so he should sign with....." mentality. Ugh it's too pathetic.

- sorry, I went off base a little. I'll watch it.

@DarrenWolfson: Joby Branion, Patterson's agent, on the trade talk report: "Categorically false." Checking elsewhere, & that seems to be right on. #vikings

Honestly, I don't think there's ever been a season in which the media was so full of ####. I see new reports everyday that turn out to be complete lies.

Sounds like someone inquired about Patterson and we listened. That's not shopping or even really "entertaining the idea" . You should always listen to what the team is offering. Nothing to see here

It's just a part of this time of year. Some members of the media will get sources telling them something and then that plan doesn't fall through, some sources will be misinformed, and some "sources" are just guesses. I don't see anything different from the last few years, though.

I think I'm just paying more close attention this year.
You can basically say anything you want and claim 'sources close to the situation' whether you heard it or not. Not that anyone is literally doing that....but there is absolutely zero consequences for passing along or promoting BS as legit info.

@Pudin'Taine

2 things:
Watch out for the Dolphins. Their coach...,that Regis Philbin guy, he's waay into KARS metrics. All the guys they bring in down there are totally Kick A$$.
Mike Wallace? The dude took 37 whacks with the steel bar before he fell over and then he jumped up and wanted to try to beat his own record. They had to restrain him....dude ain't right, so, for your own safety, don't mess with him. He holds the TSR record.
---
2nd:
After looking closely at the photo you shared, sources close to your situation have informed me that from the look of your skin you may be suffering from a vitiman D defficiency. It could lead to fatigue and depression for you.
Either get more sun and/or supplement with D3.
Also, my girlfriend is always saying (cue cute but nagging voice), 'The skin is the largest organ of the body and you need to keep it hydrated!'......so she's forever pushing coconut oil on me. Anytime I have some piece uncovered skin exposed, she's right there ready to apply the oil. It's as if she came out of the womb with a COSTCO size tub of the stuff as her gift to the world. But my skin feels great.
So, you may want to consider a cute hydration nagger as a sidekick until that blotchy condition clears up.
Good luck.

Akeem Ayers just signed a two year six million dollar deal. What a steal. Yet another player I wanted is off the market.... :/
