Looks like they've simplified the game a little for the Tackles in pass protection, which is probably smart when you have terrible tackles. meanwhile the middle of the line looked better anchoring to create a little pocket in pass pro.
The running game is a mess. The timing is all jacked up between the various players. Line is getting backed up, blocking his own tackle, Morgan is stumbling around, O Linemen on the ground after each play. Its the keystone cops to be sure. The ONLY good thing to be said about the running game is that MAYBE they can improve to some degree as they get the timing down. Physically they still look weak and outmatched, but maybe not as bad as last year?

That kick looked a little too familiar, albeit not quite as painful. He seems to miss the easy ones a little too often.

yeah there are a lot of things we need to work on... our run defense seems off on all lines ...

He had a bad couple of plays, but I would rather tha happen in the preseason than the regular season.

How bad is Thielen injured? He was looking really good before going down.

The game was over and I took the dog out for a piss. Returned and there was some kind of talk show. Did anyone get the scoop on why Teddy did not play?

No, Zimmer won't say anything.

Brothers is small but he does have a nose for the ball. Seems to shed blocks well and isn't as much a liability in coverage as I thought. Toby Johnson was around the ball a lot and Pressley looked good running.
As for turning heads, I wish Exum and Price would turn theirs, both have zero ball skills. Mac Alexander isn't far behind, he looks like he has a long way to go. Right now Sherels is easily the best dime corner or nickel if captain goes down.

Zimmer just said Rhodes will get an MRI tomorrow... that scares me.

Bridgewater not injured, not held out for disciplinary reasons. Zimmer calls him "nicest person in the history of life."
