lately, Bergers flexibility has been highlighted by how quickly the pass rushers can fold him up and slide him back into Teddy.

It's pretty unusual for a coach/GM to keep a player on PUP only to release him outright once healthy. That would shock me if it were to happen.

That's true. I guess another scenario is he's put on the IR for the rest of the season. As we've seen here with the Vikes recently, pec injuries can take quite some time to come back from.

It's possible. We have a lot of bodies at corner as it is. If memory serves he sustained the injury before June mini-camp so he'll have had at least four months to recover. I've seen it reported as torn and "partially torn", which would obviously affect his timetable. I'm leaning towards "partially torn" as I haven't seen it reported anywhere that he had surgery. Robison had a pec injury of some kind and I think he was back practicing around a month later. Obviously his was less severe. But if it was partially torn, I'm guessing he should be getting close to returning when he's able to come off the PUP.

Yankey is still on the practice squad right ?

He must not be progressing much... Second season and with all the injuries didn't crack the line up ?

I am guessing he won't back next season ...

Newest Viking Easton quickly hits the books
“It’s been pretty crazy, but I’m a rookie so I don’t know anything different right now,” Easton said. “I didn’t even get to see San Francisco. I didn’t get a chance to see the Golden Gate Bridge or anything. I was too busy studying my playbook. I’m going to take a similar approach here and just kind of live in the hotel for a while and really bury into the playbook and try to get acclimated.”
In other center-related news (from the same article):
Sullivan works out

Injured center John Sullivan returned to the field for the first time since having back surgery in early September. He was jogging on the sideline during warmups and participated in other drills.

“I’m just following the plan that [trainer Eric Sugarman] and the guys put in play. I feel good,” Sullivan said. “First time being out there bearing my full weight, doing movement drills. It felt great.”
According to the article, the earliest game for which Sullivan is eligible to return is the Vikes/Rams game.

wondering if we are going to see Easton or Cirles(sp) play any time soon ?

I know the center spot would probably have the biggest learning curve
hiking the ball and making changes to blocking assignments

Maybe we see one at guard if the vikings decided to move Harris out to Tackle, but i think more likely that if they see the field, it will be in "heavy" formations with 6 and 7 Offensive Linemen. I'd like to see them set up off-balance, and run at Houston and away from Poe and Hali with some regularity. Maybe they'd use Sirles or Eason in that capacity instead of a TE.

That would be great timing as the Rams front is scary good.

That would good..I am big power football guy. I was hoping Baps might be that player for the Vikings but he just was
too far behind by NFL standards.

Noticed this formation once in the redzone. Austin Shepherd was the extra lineman.

Look for Shephard to catch a TD out of that formation.
