I meant as in they were rotating last year. so we dont have a true NT I know Guion was listed on top of chart last season but Coach Frazier is looking for a Nose who can play all 3 downs.

If re-posting the updates is bothersome I don't have to do it. Thought it helps generate conversation. Just doing a public service.

Please continue posting the updates. I appreciate them and I check in here much more often than I check in on Twitter. Plus, as you said, they're good fuel for conversation.

Jacob Lacey - DB - Vikings

Vikings CB Jacob Lacey underwent surgery to repair a dislocated thumb on Wednesday.

It's unclear how long Lacey will be sidelined, but we would be surprised if the former Lions and Colts corner wasn't ready for camp. Per the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Lacey been seeing reps as the second-string slot corner in OTAs behind Josh Robinson. Pro Football Focus graded Lacey as the 63rd-best cornerback in 2012. He has made 36 career starts.

No, not at all. Please continue. I'm just saying that it's not difficult to follow twitter yourself and you'll get more reports and get them in real time.

Oh, okay. Sometimes, depending on who and how many people you follow, some can get buried. I try to scoop them up and post the most relevant/interesting ones for everyone but I probably miss a bunch.

Defense Plays Fast, Rudolph Responds At OTA No. 5
http://www.vikings.com/news/blog/articl ... 201419f58b
John Carlson: Rudolph may get there some day, but no Vikings TE has better body control than Carlson. The 5-year pro never has to re-do a drill because of poor or sloppy footwork, and rarely does he come down with a pass during drills or competitive periods without securing the ball in traffic or toe-tapping a couple times before going out of bounds. Injuries set him back during his first year as a Viking in 2012, but a healthy Carlson in 2013 will make a big difference for this offense. Another note on Carlson is his leadership. After struggling through the first two periods of practice with 3 dropped passes, 2nd-year player Rhett Ellison grew frustrated. But Carlson took 30 seconds between periods to play a quick pitch-and-catch with his younger teammate, and from that point forward Ellison didn’t drop a pass in 6 targets during competitive periods.

That's very cool.

I really hope Carlson can stay healthy. If he does, I think he'll have a great chance to be the player Spielman probably thought he was signing last year.

Yeah I echo the others and appreciate the updates. I've become spoiled and don't even bother checking on my own most of the time

Good to hear Robison is back to 100%.

Arms healed, Robison could be "double-digit sack guy
http://www.1500espn.com/sportswire/Note ... _guy060513
A little more than a month past his 30th birthday, Robison is entering a contract year coming off arguably the best of his six NFL seasons, despite the physical challenges he faced.

He hurt the elbow in Week 2 at Indianapolis, then sprained the shoulder on Dec. 16 at St. Louis and missed the Vikings' next game -- only to return and record a crucial strip-sack in the regular-season finale against Green Bay that lifted the Vikings into the playoffs.

"I think he's one of those guys who can be a double-digit sack guy," coach Leslie Frazier said of Robison, who has 16½ sacks in two seasons since replacing Ray Edwards as the starting left end.

"He has that type of burst and athleticism. We've seen it on a number of occasions. We just want him to be consistently good throughout 16 games, and he's been able to do that in spurts."

Staying relatively healthy would be a good start.

"It's been nice not to have braces on the left arm, braces on the right arm and things like that," Robison said. "Shoulder's definitely healed up a lot quicker than I thought it was going to. I feel good, man. I really do."

Please re-post the updates. This is a Vikings board and I'd much prefer reading and commenting on the updates here.

Besides, if someone doesn't want to read them, then they don't have to.

I agree. If Carlson can become the player the Vikings want him to be, it adds another important weapon to the offense. Then hopefully the 2TE sets really do become multi-dimensional.
