Walsh said in press conference he missed it, his fault. Feel bad for the guy but life as a kicker.

Rationally, I didn't expect this team to be in the playoffs so rationally, I'd say they were ahead of schedule, but this team just has something man cannot control working against it.

When the season is on the line, it's details like this that win or lose ball games, and today it lost us the game.a

God, I wish I wasn't a Vikings fan sometime. But God knows I'll be back again next year and every year for the rest of my life rooting for them, hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
He shanked it. Missed it completely. He choked. God, why make excuses for a professional NFL player? He chocked.

This team overachieved all year long, this offense was not championship caliber. Would have been nice to win a game, but it's crazy to think they could have everything fall right for four games and they would need that to with the SB.

i know all you guys hate me, but the truth is is shouldn't have came down to that. until we can actually be more agressive offensively we won't win the big game anyway. i'm not sure how we won 11 games to be honest it defies logic with this poor of a passing game.

Me too. Been a fan since 1972. How do the the REAL old timers from the 60s hang on? Hard to stay a Viking fan

All I have to say is the Vikings really know how to "turn the knife", don't they?

It was a good game and a good season. I wish the outcome had been better but hopefully, they'll be a better team next year and they'll learn enough from this loss to win in the postseason next year.

I'm only 29, but I say loyalty and that I'm not going to just switch to another team out of convenience because they happen to win championships.

The sad reality is that one cannot simply "un-fan" themselves.

Being a fan of the Vikings is like being jumped into a gang.

Blood in, blood out.

Because the first year if I switched, the Vikings would win the Super Bowl.

I think the point he's making, which is fair, is that Peterson has VERY POOR situational awareness. Its 3rd and 1 so let me try to get around the guy instead of initiating contact and picking up 1 yard. Its a precious 2 point lead and I am in space, let me chicken wing the ball and open it up for an easy strip. Its 3rd down and we have a chance to kick a FG to take the lead, let me run to the other hash mark. I don't really blame Peterson for the last one, but in the context of his repeated boneheadednes in big moments, it potentially contributes to the impression that he's just not smart/aware of the situations in the game.

sneax zero football knowledge?? how about a qb who has thrown for under 200 yards 8 games this season? explain to me how that is going to win us a championship performing at that level because i'd like to hear your knowledge regarding those high school statistics.
