Walsh said in press conference he missed it, his fault. Feel bad for the guy but life as a kicker.

He shanked it. Missed it completely. He choked. God, why make excuses for a professional NFL player? He chocked.w_huisman wrote: It's not a moot point. If I saw the tendency for Walsh to miss from the left, everyone including AD should have been aware of it as well.
When the season is on the line, it's details like this that win or lose ball games, and today it lost us the game.a
God, I wish I wasn't a Vikings fan sometime. But God knows I'll be back again next year and every year for the rest of my life rooting for them, hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
This team overachieved all year long, this offense was not championship caliber. Would have been nice to win a game, but it's crazy to think they could have everything fall right for four games and they would need that to with the SB.PurpleKoolaid wrote:One more year and the SB hope is smashed. I may as well realize the Vikings wont win a SB while I am alive. What a depressing thought. I wonder if Michael Bennett knows why god hates the vikings so much.
Me too. Been a fan since 1972. How do the the REAL old timers from the 60s hang on? Hard to stay a Viking fanPurpleMustReign wrote:I would have much rather seen a 35-0 blowout loss than a painful one like this. I hate beign a Viking fan.
I'm only 29, but I say loyalty and that I'm not going to just switch to another team out of convenience because they happen to win championships.Laserman wrote: Me too. Been a fan since 1972. How do the the REAL old timers from the 60s hang on? Hard to stay a Viking fan
We hate you because you have zero football knowledge and just come on here and say stupid negative ####. Go the #### away.mosscarter wrote:i know all you guys hate me, but the truth is is shouldn't have came down to that. until we can actually be more agressive offensively we won't win the big game anyway. i'm not sure how we won 11 games to be honest it defies logic with this poor of a passing game.
Because the first year if I switched, the Vikings would win the Super Bowl.Laserman wrote: Me too. Been a fan since 1972. How do the the REAL old timers from the 60s hang on? Hard to stay a Viking fan
I think the point he's making, which is fair, is that Peterson has VERY POOR situational awareness. Its 3rd and 1 so let me try to get around the guy instead of initiating contact and picking up 1 yard. Its a precious 2 point lead and I am in space, let me chicken wing the ball and open it up for an easy strip. Its 3rd down and we have a chance to kick a FG to take the lead, let me run to the other hash mark. I don't really blame Peterson for the last one, but in the context of his repeated boneheadednes in big moments, it potentially contributes to the impression that he's just not smart/aware of the situations in the game.PurpleKoolaid wrote:
