A QB who we picked up 2 weeks ago behind a terrible offensive line + the best running back in the NFL. The only logical thing to do is to run it 13 times and pass it 53. Great gameplan. I can't believe it didn't work.
LOL! That TD Cook gave up was brutal. Does he think defense just means running with the receiver? He made no effort to make a
play on the ball. He just ran and got beat, despite being in decent position to actually break up the play.
Cook never makes plays on the ball. I know I say it a lot, but we have started this guy about 40 times and he has more
criminal arrests than forced fumbles and interceptions. Our secondary is inexcusably bad talent wise and scheme wise and coaching.
This is what irks me about LF. He was a DB. He coached DB's. He was a D Co-ord. How do you, as HC, allow this much futility? Golly-Geez, Gomer.

Because Frazier is a coach, not the mastermind who put together this roster. He has to make do with the talent that he's given. As bad as Cook is, the alternatives - Sherels, Jefferson and Lacey - are worse.

Dungy was a defensive coach who won a SB with his offense. Billick was an offensive guru who won a SB through his defense.
It's all about the personnel provided.

According to ProFootballFocus @PFF Josh Freeman had 15 overthrown passes last night.

Oh man, you know it's bad when you're being laughed at by fans of an 0-6 team.

Chris Cook on the TD to Randle on Monday: "I should've made a play. Lost the ball in the lights a little bit, but it's a no-excuse league."

I like that he's holding himself accountable and not making excuses. Finally! Someone!
Now what was Frazier's take on that TD?

Lost in the lights my ####. That play was crucial. Cook stayed with him, was in position to defend, but never turned around to make a play on the ball. I don't know if he got intimidated, or just completely sucks. Either one is not good. I remember in the past seasons where Cook pretty much locked down Megatron and Vincent Jackson. This season he's just getting used and abused. He made Randle look like Randy Moss.

lost in the lights or not DB's should be coached to get their arms up (especially in the #### end zone holy ####) no matter what. Hey, it's 4 seconds into the play and my guys in the endzone, guess ill put my hands up and hope to hit the ball.
Just re-watched it and it's really sad. He has perfect inside position, this should be a pick or batted down 90% of the time but he literally doesn't do anything. He doesn't even play the receiver who jumps "over" him so I just don't buy that "i lost it in the lights." That barely even happens to the twins with a little white ball hit 100 feet in the air let alone a big brown football 10 feet off the ground. Classic deer in the headlights look from Cook.

That's why I do believe it, there's no other possible excuse for not getting his arms up other than he honestly had no idea the ball was coming and couldn't see anything.
I was wondering at the time what he could have been thinking...

Thanks to "me4get" for creating this thread in place of me. Some important family stuff came up early Monday morning and lasted until 4pm today. But it's all good.

No one's got 6 hours to watch a rigged sport that's fairly boring with Boston in the series again. Maybe if they made it possible for more than like 6 teams to actually have a chance to compete more people would watch it. What's the point when one guy on the yankees makes more than my entire team put together?
