PK, if you think our kickers are our main problem, you are foolin yourself. Our OL and a very questionable QB are the main issues. Teddy needs to put up or shut up this year. He better show up with a stronger arm attached to a head that is willing to throw downfield and do so accurately. If that doesnt happen, there isnt a kicker in the game that will compensate for that weakness.

I think its highly unlikely that Teddy will show up with an arm attached to his head.

I can agree with this..........

I don't understand investing so much in these rankings. Obviously the Packers are a good team with a great QB. Obviously they are going to be highly rated by the experts. Obviously, what happens on the field will determine where they ACTUALLY rank at the end of the year.

We just need something to discuss during the off-season is all.

Your post, other then the usual Teddy attack, makes no sense. You think Teddy needs to 'shut up'? He rarely speaks, lets alone taunts.
And yeah, when you lose a friggin home game cause your kicker (and punter) suck in the very last seconds of a game, you wont get a lot of respect for anything. Good teams hit that FG. Mediocre ones say, 'oh well, theres always next year'.

Good teams make field goals...Good teams rank in the top 10 in a variety of statistical categories...Good team win games...Good teams eat ham on thursdays...good teams never leave the home without American Express...Good teams have QBs with arms attached to their heads...Good teams don't allow their former coaches to have garage sales...Good teams throw for over 4,000 yards...Good teams DONT have Norv Turner...Good teams make good use of their good players until they are good...Good teams get together to watch pay per view fights...Good teams do all these things and more.
That's why they're good!

silly diversions about semantics dont erase the fact that we have a QB who hasnt proven he is able to run a vertical passing game with any strength or accuracy. Its a very obvious and important hurdle that he needs to over come this year.

Actually, good teams don't need to make that field goal.

Absolutely correct......a good team would have scored at least 1 TD and/or would have not allowed a TD by the Seahawks.
