I live in SEC country, I've watched plenty of his games. He's only won 1 big game and that's Alabama last yearTexas Vike wrote:I agree. Most folks who detest him have never watched him apart from highlights and base their opinion on sensationalist media junk. Watch how he plays in games and I think you'll admire a lot of what he brings to the table.
The dude has all day to throw the ball.PurpleKoolaid wrote:Zach schooling JFB so far....
JFB could but hes too busy running all around, kinda like another QB I know....purplehaze wrote: The dude has all day to throw the ball.
Is he out there by himself or might the team around have an impact on that?MrPurplenGold wrote: I live in SEC country, I've watched plenty of his games. He's only won 1 big game and that's Alabama last year
The defense doesn't throw interceptions in the red zone either. They had a 14-0 lead on Alabama this year and they still lost. They played one of the worst defenses in the SEC in Auburn and lost as well. And the offense isn't scoring against a poor LSU defense today. Manziel has highlight plays and gaudy stats but when it matters he hasn't come through this year.Mothman wrote: Is he out there by himself or might the team around have an impact on that?
Texas A&M has a terrible defense.
A&M beat 4 top 25 teams last year. By any objective measure, those would be considered "big games".MrPurplenGold wrote: I live in SEC country, I've watched plenty of his games. He's only won 1 big game and that's Alabama last year
Yeeeeah. Probably not a great performance to draw attention to. T'was ugly.MrPurplenGold wrote: 8 for 22 not looking too good
He still looked better then the media's baby, JFB....Boon wrote:Mariotta looked superb vs Arizona today....
Zach played well. LSU's CB's did. The baby didn't thoughMelanieMFunk wrote: Yeeeeah. Probably not a great performance to draw attention to. T'was ugly.
Yeah Zach played pretty good. I was most impressed with how well he handed the ball off for 324 yards rushing.PurpleKoolaid wrote: Zach played well. LSU's CB's did. The baby didn't though
