Sigh. Mycole Pruit. No need for a fifth round small school tight end.

BOTTOM LINE The production is impressive. It warrants attention and accolades, but the tape shows an alarming inconsistency of effort and competitive fire. Pruitt won't be considered a plus athlete for the position by NFL standards, so he must crank up the motor and keep it running -- especially when asked to block since that might be his way onto a team.

Expect we'll try Pruit at H-Back in addition to TE.

One of the top combine performers. @christomasson: Scouts say MyCole Pruitt has a stocky build with good thickness on his frame and gliding speed

Pruitt was more of a 6th to 7th round prospect because of him being so raw. Whatever. I hope we take a chance on Ifo.

@evansilva: New #Vikings TE MyCole Pruitt set Missouri Valley Conf records for career catches, yards, TDs by a TE. Blew up Combine (4.58, 38" vertical).

Yeah, interesting pick, not really sure what to think about it but it is the 5th round now so as a 5th round pick I'm fine taking the guy with good production and seeing if it sticks in the NFL.

Trust me. He is a great player. Very under-rated. He is a big-play threat. He destroyed Iowa.
