You are defending Teddy against something that no one said - that's why I said I think you are being too sensitive about Teddy (and no, that is not acting like I think you think Teddy is the best QB ever and shouldn't receive any criticism - that's just pure exaggeration on your part).
Didnt mean to say "entirely". My fault. You were saying it didnt matter that they put up a lot of points. Since they lost Teddy won't be considered a "winner" yet he has the most wins of any QB.

And I get blasted for saying that Tannehill played a very good game 400 YDS. AND 4 TDS. (shame on me) :(

I've seen you post a lot of QB criticism over the years, John. Since the position is clearly difficult, what justification do you have for all that criticism? Shouldn't your understanding that QBs have a very difficult job have served as a reason to refrain from criticizing them for not being perfect? After all, the clear implication of your comment above is that I should have refrained from criticizing Bridgewater simply because he plays a difficult position and is imperfect.

You're basically suggesting that QBs are above criticism. Heck, by logical extension, since every NFL job is difficult, every player (even kickers!) is above criticism.
Here again we are talking past each other. Let me try to explain:
The general thought among some on the board was that Teddy had "accuracy issues" because he had three (to many on this board) or two (to those of us who thought the pass to Johnson that was intercepted couldn't be called inaccurate because Johnson said it wasn't) bad throws. So to me, we are criticizing whether a QB who threw for a 75% completion rate in the game, and three games in a row (now four) with a 70% completion rate for his two missed passes in 41 attempts [that string of high completion percentage is the first time in NFL history for a rookie to do that, as well as throwing for an average of 8.9 yards per attempt over these four games, meaning he's not just throwing checkdowns]. I wasn't saying we couldn't criticize a QB for inaccuracy, just that we should measure that against a ideal not of perfection, but of what a good-to-great QB will show as a rookie.

Even great QB's will occasionally overthrow/miss an open receiver. If it happens a couple times a game, you are probably going to be happy. If it is consistent, or the QB never hits a receiver in stride (like a Christian Ponder, to my eyes) then, yes, we will have some basis for criticism.

As for another subtopic - has there ever been a QB as unlucky with his QB rating as Teddy? He's now lost two perfectly good TD's (the Johnson fumble on the line, scored as a fumble recovery by Felton) and the Ford TD. He also is stuck with another weird interception in this game on a ball that hit his receiver in the hands, as well as at least one more receiver tip and two hail mary interceptions that were unimportant in the course of the game. With a little luck, his rating could be 91 instead of 85. Of course, QB rating is overrated. Ryan Fitzpatrick has a 95 QB rating this season, but a lot of that is due to a 6 TD game against the Titans (he has a ratio of 11 TD's to 8 INT's without that game).

Seriously, did you not substitute "IN GOD WE TRUST" for, "IN Bridgewater We Trust" on your signature page :?: That is where it came from.

Good post! I have identical views. I have criticized Teddy myself but you pointed out some of the nitpicking that's been going on with Teddy this season just like I did a few days back. I feel that some fans are sometimes overly critical of Teddy. Not saying he can't be criticized but there has been plenty more good than bad and for whatever reason, some focus more on the bad.

I didn't specifically substitute that in. I took that sig from another board just because I thought it looked cool. Not because I was actually calling Bridgewater a God

It's a zone blocking scheme and by the looks of it, the guy went inside on Ducasse. Hence why Vlad is turned around chasing him. Kalil is going to help double team which is what you're suppose to do

Ah, that explains Kalil's play this season. I didn't realize he was being told to stand there looking clueless.
