Why do we wait until 6 minutes left in a game to actually call some plays and pass for more than 2 yards?

I wonder if the coaches know you can play like this for the entire game.

Started with Chilly continues with Frasier , play not to win but to keep it close and have CHANCE to win .

I love when the Vikings get into these situations and *have* to use their WRs...

I bet Frazier and Musgrave just hate that. They are over there cursing and huffing and puffing because they have to throw. If anything makes Frazier mad, it's not piss-poor execution or penalties or bad defense - it's having to throw the ball downfield.
