Sorry if my comment bothers you but I tend to believe that a team is lead by its head coach and when the coach gives little or no emotion, then it would be a fair assumtion that the players may follow suit. And your comparison of coaching styles are dated not to mention the kind of talent Grant, Landry and Knox had.

It's a valid comment. Phil Jackson (in Basketball) was known as an "even-keel" coach too. It doesn't mean every coach has to have the emotion of Bobby Knight...
