Very much a preseason game. But that Teddy to CJ pass was fun. Just like old times, when CJ was Teddy's main target.

Oline still scares me. I have a feeling it will all year.

I saw Teddy holding the ball differently in the pocket. His release seems a tad quicker. I hope that this is a good sign for him. And us.

The refs need the preseason just as much as the players. That was a bad call on the horse-coller and even worse, they missed a block in the back right where the returner caught the ball.

The Vikings 2nd string corners look awful. That deep ball has no business being completed. Just terrible.

Trust me when I say Tyler Boyd is an animal. I have first-hand experience watching him torch us this past season when Pitt came to Iowa City.

Matt Asiata is one of the most fundamentally sound RBs the Vikings have had in a long time. He can pick up a blitz, chip block effectively, catch the ball, and I Don't know that I have seen him fumble. I think he should make the team long over Zack Line.

I disagree. They had 40 seconds left, called a two yard play, didn't call time out after it, and went down to 10 seconds after the next play. They did get in FG range, but it was still a 51 yarder that barely went over the crossbar. Terrible time management and they were lucky to get points, IMO.

With that said, the offense really improved as the game went on. I'm ok with their play so far. Most concerning to me is the rush defense and 3rd down defense.

Stoudamire is looking good. I still think someone will have to get hurt for any WR receiver to surprise and make the team.
