Come on... enough of this sad sack, throw-in-the-towel attitude, Vikes fans! How many times today do I have to point out that the Vikes are 1-1-1 in their last 3 games against GB with Ponder starting, that they've scored more than 26 points in all 3, or that he has thrown 0 INTs in those contests and posted a passer rating over 100 in two of them? It's time to start thinking like this:

I hope he does just that.

By the way, that's just posted as a passionate Vikes fan, not as a directive from a moderator. Post whatever you feel but please keep it within board rules.

The defense is a lot better now , I believe, than it ever was in the years Ponder was starter. Maybe, just maybe, they can pull out a win. I got my fingers crossed.

No matter, with luck, the Vikes and the running game, and a few decent passes 10-20 yards deep per drive, the offense will find a way to see the end-zone...field goals a second thought. You/we have got to believe and pull for the team. Any game can be had!!

Agreed. If the defense and running game steps up then i think we have a shot to get a win or tie in this game even with ponder at QB. I predict we will see alot of asiata, mckinnion, and patterson running the ball. I am also expecting to see patterson take a kickoff to the house which we havent seen in a while. Final Score Vikes 27, Packers 20

Also if Ponder goes down who will take snaps at QB??? They didn't bring up anyone from the practice squad, did they?

Great, biggest game of the season thus far and we have Christian Ponder starting.. Sigh.

We are 2-2, they are 2-2, lets find a way to make it happen.

I'm interested to see if Norv Turner has managed to help Ponder.

Yep we lost. Oh well, suppose it's better not to exacerbate Teddy's ankle. At least it's not Webb at backup anymore.

Feeling a Webb vs. Ponder battle coming on.

I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue...

I hope it's just that they're being overly cautious ... and not that the injury is more serious than originally thought per the team's confidence Monday and Tuesday that he would start.

yep, game is over before kickoff. maybe patterson will run in the opening kick like last year and then we won't score another point the entire game. and the thing is, last year at least we had peterson. this could be a total massacre.

I'm not exactly an optimist with Ponder in at QB, but the rain very well may save us, I haven't seen any word on the weather since a couple days ago.

Guys, I will be watching this game from Portland. I am here for work, I hope we win, but I'm not that confident. I will be screaming at my TV set in the hotel though. SKOL!!

I'm sure he would play had this been a Sunday or Monday game.
