Why don't we run that normally? SMH.
Whenever i step outside, somebody claims to see the light
It seems to me that all of us have lost our patience.
'cause everyone thinks they're right,
And nobody thinks that there just might
Be more than one road to our final destination--

A pick 6 would be nice right about now.
Vikings fan since Nov. 6, 1966. Annoying Packer fans since Nov. 7, 1966

Its the offense they play. The Vikings have the 3rd (I believe) lowest yard per attempt in the league. Who do they have that can get deep?purplehaze wrote: Word. With the exception of the Favre year.

it isnt an excuse yezzir its just an observation you dont have to agree I just stated what I see . Lots of teams play awesome on slippery grass fields we don't . I am not suggesting thats why we are getting beat .yezzir wrote:
Sorry but, lame excuse. The Redskins players don't have super-power feet. All players are on the same field.
LETS GO VIKINGS !

I loved the expression on Frazier's face after Ponder threw the INT to Williams... Can't blame him for that, but at the same time it just goes to show playing it safe isn't always playing it safe.Purplemania wrote: Frazier = "Oh, so if one of my guys crosses the endzone, we get 6 points and get to kick an extra point?"
I swear, if the camera ever pulled back to show the entire field there are like 3 Viking WR's just standing all alone down the field somewhere on every play. The Redskins defense is selling out to stop the short stuff. There have to be more opportunities open down the field.
Re: Vikings @ Redskins Gameday Discussion Thread -- Week 6
Is there something resembling a blitz in our defensive playbook?

Let Harvin catch the ball 20 yards downfield instead of running thru traffic and see what happens

Seems to me lots of other teams are able to do it with less than stellar receivers.radar55 wrote: Its the offense they play. The Vikings have the 3rd (I believe) lowest yard per attempt in the league. Who do they have that can get deep?

I really get tired of this criticism... as if being emotional on the sidelines makes one a better coach.radar55 wrote:Why is it every time the camera is on Frazier he looks more like a dis interested fan than the head coach. I wish he would show SOME emotion when they are playing this way or is he simply just as lost as the players appear to be?
Bud Grant, Tom Landry, and Chuck Knox might take issue with that assumption.

Or those three field goals instead of touchdowns earlier in the game.Lash Man wrote:Man how big is that pick 6 now

Go ahead. I dare you.
Underestimate this man.

I don't care who you are, that's funny.
