Can't blame the defense when they are out there 80% of the time, especially when Bush is running all around the field. It goes back to our offense. I'm pretty sure we haven't picked up a 1st down on a 3rd down yet.

Because Musgrave is our OC. He is too busy setting up formations with Jennings in the backfield.

Week one's game isn't even over and I'm sick of my beloved Vikings. Thank god Zigi didn't sign Frazier to an exstension.
A successful coach needs a patient wife, loyal dog, and great quarterback - and not necessarily in that order.

Imagine what this game is like if they take the two picks back that could of been returned. Lions would be at 30 plus points by now.

I think Musgrave and Frazier are just protecting their 1st round QB. They know he's limited and they also believe they can ride their all-world running back. They don't want to admit they blew a high 1st on Ponder. Maybe they think he will still get it because at times he's been able to succeed.

If I were Musgrave, I'd put both Patterson and Webb out there wide with Jennings now. I'd spread the defense out as wide as possible. Then I'd tell Ponder to throw it and let his big targets go up and get it.

Fraizer gets an F for having his team ready for the first NFL start...with the Lions doing everything they can to help give us a win too.

Haha! That's exactly what I was just thinking. I would probably take T-Jack over Ponder. He did no worse.

Actually pretty good. It's a deep draft at QB and there is some real talent there.

Trouble is, to have a shot at that great talent the Vikes are going to have to suck bad this year. To the tune of the 3 wins they had two seasons ago.

What's not helping the Defense either are punts of 36, 42, and 39. That's just plain embarrassing.

We arnt winning the field position battle, our best player is being shut down, the defence is giving in, and our QB looks scarred and is arguably playing the worst game of his nfl career. Looks like a lose, come on Vikings prove me wrong, we need a quick start this year!
