@Rand_Getlin: A source indicated after Darnell Dockett's release that the #AZCardinals were clearing cap space to make a run at RB Adrian Peterson.
@Rand_Getlin: Would make a lot of sense for the #AZCardinals to sign Peterson. Would take a tremendous amount of weight off of Carson Palmer's shoulders.
I would be down with that. Trade their Peterson (Patrick) for the Vike's Peterson and maybe a draft pick or two.MusicCityViking wrote:Cardinals making push for AP?

3 years, 7 million - about 3 million guaranteed. Solid job, congrats in order for Spielman and company.

Pretty cheap deal too - he's a valuable rotational guy on the defensive line. You can never have enough pass rushing pieces. Happy about this one, fits the measured approach I hope we take.Pondering Her Percy wrote: I was just going to post this.....great news!!! He the one in-house guy I really wanted to keep
Yeah, he's going to wind up getting paid.VikingPaul73 wrote:Good news on Johnson!
Looks like there is a bidding war with Eagles and Giants on Devin Mccourty
Agreed, I think we should be able to get him back fairly cheap as well. Good to have insurance in case one of the guys on the interior go down with injury - and really, it seems like a virtual certainty that someone will get hurt.Mothman wrote:Good news. I hope they can re-sign Berger too. He's a solid backup.

The Vikings have reached out to free-agent safety Taylor Mays, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Mays played for new Vikings coach Mike Zimmer in Cincinnati. He could mix in as a third safety behind Harrison Smith and Robert Blanton if he were to re-unite with Zimmer.
