(tampa, boston, new york) twins have been the 6th team in baseball with a .500 + record on the road till that loss last night. we win toninght and we're there again. some of the road records of some really good teams might surprise you.
I get upset by the way they lose. They don't play the same on the road as they do at home. There is no fire when they are not at TF. It is like they don't care.

The 1987 Twins won the World series. Their road record was 29-52.

Well, they were up 6-0, now it's 6-4... they are trying so hard to lose the game...

It was a win, but an ugly one. We need to score 5-6 runs to even have a chance, that wont cut it in the playoffs. The rotation had a good couple weeks, but back to reality, they are just not good enough, even with our offense, to make it through a playoff series. We need Morneau back asap. Last night SHOULD have shown Guardy what Thome in the line up does, who cares what catcher Pavano is used to, keep Mauer in and let Thome PH, at least against good teams, on the road.

Apparently Thome had a sore thigh, so I'll cut him (Gardy) a little slack for that game. I still think if our Bullpen was used correctly, we would have a shot in the postseason, but the wat it is used, no way.

Didnt know Thome was hurting, so, yea, he did the right thing. Hoping for a sweep in Seattle.

Whenever the Twins are in Seattle, they seem to think the Mariners are a 100 win ball club. In other words, if we go 1-2, we will be lucky.

Kind of a tangent, but I think it's very reassuring that Mauer has reverted back to being a stud at the plate. I'm sure all the criticism from earlier in the season had to irritate the hell out of him, and he's risen to the challenge.

Great game by Blacky today (I know it was against Seattle, but still has to be good for his confidence). But Why was Tolbert put in to replace Hudson? Casilla is a much better player than Tolbert. Hell, Tolbert shouldn't even be in the bigs right now.

Why?? Cuz Guardy is an idiot. I hope Hudson is ok and Thomes back is nothing serious. Is Morneau ever coming back???

Scott Ullger needs to be fired after the game. Sending Kubel on the hit by Delmon Young was just mind boggling. Probably the 2nd slowest player on the team, and he tries to score him from 2nd? The ball was hit fairly sharply, and the fielder was playing shallow.
This coaching staff, other than Jerry White and Joe Vavra, SUCK.. SUCK SUCK...

Now for some positivity:
Danny Valencia is a STUD. The Twins have finally found their 3rd Baseman. Nice hit, kid!!
