Zack Moss, RB. If we could get him in the 3rd I'd be excited.

There is zero chance it happens, I think Herbert will be a Charger to replace Riversfiestavike wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 8:23 am The more I watch Justin Herbert, the more I like him. I think its a possibility that the Vikings trade up to 4 to get him. 22, 25, and a 3rd rounder probably gets them there. Give him a year as we transition to a 3-4 and build up the offensive line, then you have 4 years with a rookie QB contract to try to build a championship roster.
Why would Vikings need another running back? Vikings have Cook, Mattison, and Boone which is a good group of running backsfiestavike wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 7:20 am Zack Moss, RB. If we could get him in the 3rd I'd be excited.
Boone stinks, and Cook may not be a Vikings in the near future and you may not want to pay him 10 million a year (too much for a RB). And you shouldn't just draft for need.RandyMoss84 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 8:49 amWhy would Vikings need another running back? Perhaps, but they'd have to trade up to make that happen if the Vikings can work something out with the Giants for the #4 pick.RandyMoss84 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 8:43 amThere is zero chance it happens, I think Herbert will be a Charger to replace Riversfiestavike wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 8:23 am The more I watch Justin Herbert, the more I like him. There is a rumor that Vikings are talking to Cook about an extension so we will see but yeah, I do agree that Vikings should not give Cook 10 million a year since he has not played a full season yet, as for Boone, he just did not get much playing time since he is the 3rd running back but if Vikings do release Boone then yeah, then draft Moss to make you happyfiestavike wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 8:52 amBoone stinks, and Cook may not be a Vikings in the near future and you may not want to pay him 10 million a year (too much for a RB). Has the Giants talked about trading down? I have not seen anything on thatfiestavike wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 8:55 amPerhaps, but they'd have to trade up to make that happen if the Vikings can work something out with the Giants for the #4 pick.RandyMoss84 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 8:43 am

I could live with 8 Million a year for Cook, but IMO no way he accepts that.RandyMoss84 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 9:03 amThere is a rumor that Vikings are talking to Cook about an extension so we will see but yeah, I do agree that Vikings should not give Cook 10 million a year since he has not played a full season yet, as for Boone, he just did not get much playing time since he is the 3rd running back but if Vikings do release Boone then yeah, then draft Moss to make you happyfiestavike wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 8:52 am

Sometimes it’s system related. For example, very few quarterbacks under Mike Leach succeed in the NFL. That doesn’t explain the ling history of Baylor flameouts, but I think that’s what PHP is talking about with players who don’t translate well.VikingsVictorious wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 9:34 amWere any of them that didn't translate well to the NFL Mims?Pondering Her Percy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 7:59 am
There are plenty that haven’t translated well to the nfl
My point is every prospect should be rated on their own merit. Not because of a history from the school. If Mims has learned bad habits or lacks good training from the system they should show up when evaluating him.J. Kapp 11 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 12:07 pmSometimes it’s system related. Look, I like what I see of Mims on tape. He’s not perfect. His route tree is limited, and while he’s fast, he’s not particularly good after the catch. Still, you can teach route running ... you can’t teach 6-3 and 4.38. Or his ability to adjust to the ball or make circus catches along the sideline.
Interesting prospect.
Of course. Not arguing it.VikingsVictorious wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 4:16 pmMy point is every prospect should be rated on their own merit. Not because of a history from the school.
