Gruden is to Rodgers as Madden is to Favre?

..This game doesn't scare me much, Denver can't run the ball at all and Manning is very susceptible to a good pass rush. Talib can cover deep, but you can throw on them at the intermediate routes, Teddy will be the key if he can play patient and mistake free. Can our O line give him time?.

I really don't understand not taking the 15 yards and laying hits on him all game. With the type of efficiency they have, it doesn't even hurt your chances of winning. The only chance is to rattle him or knock him out of the game.

If our offense, defense, and special teams play better than the Broncos overall, and we score more points than they do, then I am confident we will win.

Holy S*** that's incredible..... I'm beaming.
We will Definitely need this kid if we stand a chance on the road..

1) We're not the Saints

2) Eventually players get ejected/suspended

I never blamed the saints

I just considered the griping sour grapes.

You missed the point I was making...I'm saying we aren't the Saints (as in, we don't do that dirty ####)

Also, eventually dirty hits would get players suspended or thrown out of the game.

You said you didn't understand why we wouldn't play dirty, and I gave you two reasons.

I know we haven't started the "enemy fan forum" stuff yet but the topic title over at the main broncos board is How BADLY do we beat the Vikings?

Again with only references to MNF and how poorly we played (which we did).

I am not too bummed because obviously we are going to be more than the slight roadbump they are anticipating on their way to their record breaking, hearts and minds capturing, Superbowl winning season after which John Elway and Peyton Manning will ascend to heaven astride a herd of stampeding Orange Mustangs that coat Denver in a layer of Rainbow crap and Coors "the banquet beer" piss.

Its just surprising to me how much people will cherry pick the games they want to have represent an opposing team.

I hope we smack them in the mouth. Get to Peyton early and often and methodically push the ball down the field with short plays. I want near 40 minutes of possession time.

I'm taking that with a grain of salt because I know Zimmer's feelings on providing injury updates and the hit "X" took was a nasty one. But if this is true and he can get cleared, it'd be awesome. We'll know more today after getting the practice reports. I don't expect him to suit up before Thursday at the earliest but maybe that's just me being pessimistic.

I think we've got a few things going for us in this match-up:

+ Broncos haven't seen a RB like AD yet this year.
+ Broncos haven't seen a QB as mobile as Teddy yet this year.
+ Broncos Oline is as bad or worse than ours and our Dline could have a great game.
+ Broncos haven't had much of a run game at all and we've won both of our games where the opposing offense was one-dimensional.

With that being said...

- Manning is still better than all the QBs we've faced.
- Our Oline might struggle against their ridiculous Dline.
- Broncos CBs are better than our WRs.

I think this is the game we get Patterson back into the game plan with some explosive quick throws which will slow down the Broncos Dline and open up the run game for AD. Vikes 24-21.

When does the empty fan forum get started? Broncos fans seem delusional, can't wait to see some of the ridiculous things they will say.

I strongly disagree. At this point in their careers, I would take Stafford and Rivers both over Manning. For 2015, I think Manning is closer to Andy Dalton than Aaron Rodgers.
