Dude, it's coach speak. You're not gonna get anything out of a press conference. Would rather have Chilly, who just spouted "round peg, square hole" non-sense? The coach isn't gonna come out and say "I suck, our QB sucks, our OC sucks. I hate Rick for giving me this scrub roster, etc."
Well I think the "coach speak" we're looking for is something more along the lines of, "well watching all that tape and tweaking things has finally paid off and contributed greatly to our victory today". The fact we keep losing the same way is what makes him sound like a broken record.

While some coaching calls have been questionable to say the least, some better execution from the QB and the Vikings could easily be 2-1 and we wouldn't be having "Fire Frazier" threads already.
If there is any offense that should get Frazier fired though it is his continued support of Ponder as his QB. He HAS to make the move to Cassell. It will likely be more of the same. Bad decisions as he panics in a quickly collapsing pocket, but at least it will be an effort to see if things can get better. And I know Cassell can throw the ball better. If he does get some time he CAN hit a wide open receiver. That's more than Ponder can do. And if Cassell fails too, I'd put what's his three names in there. What do we have to lose at this point? Only the #1 draft pick.
I just can't believe Frazier says Ponder is still his guy. We can ALL see he can NOT get it done!! When are they going to hold him accountable for costing this team game after game?!

I think the reason the coaches are starting to catch 'heat' is because the shortcomings of the
team go beyond the QB. I don't need to re-hash all that is going wrong right now, but it is far from limited to just the QB.

As soon as that field goal went through I typed this...
{Frazier}We've got the lead now. All we gotta do is run Prevent D and grind out the clock for another 12 minutes{Frazier}
Oh yeah. The prevent D that prevents everything but the game winning drive in two back to back games.
A coach needs to have some guts, SOME KILLER INSTINCT. You say, "Our D is shutting 'em down. They did tricks and gadgets on us?
Well this is a must-win for us too, pal!" then go balls out and try to win the game by 20.
Not this Prevent D That Allows The Game-Winner. Not this Prevent D That Can't Prevent Tight Ends crap. Go get some #### touchdowns!
You have 3 time outs, 12 minutes and the 2 minute warning. GO GET SOME #### TOUCHDOWNS. DON'T "GRIND OUT THE CLOCK"
YOU MOOKS!
