Yah Del Rio was never 'great' but was definately one of my favorites while in High School. And that is what we are talking about, I also am a big Greenway fan now. I think both these guys bring/brought a lot of things to a team that you just cant measure. No evidence of this eiher really, just what I feel as I watch em play, pure fandom I guess,

If you mean an LB that was "Dick Butkus" or "Ray Lewis" great, I'd say that's true. Nevertheless, Blair went to 6 straight Pro Bowls. played a significant role on some superb defenses and on top of everything else, he was an exceptional special teams player. If that's not indicative of a great player than he's about as close as you can get without making the cut.

In no particular order: (I didn't become interested in football until 1992)

Antoine Winfield (5'8" Tackles like linebacker)
John Randle (No one was more entertaining)
All Day (Old School RB that leaves everything on the field)
Randy Moss (Most exciting era for recent Vikings fan)
Cris Carter (True professional, could always count on him to get the first down)
