I doubt Newman moves to safety now (at least this year). I assume that's why they added two more safeties.
EDIT: This was before I realized we literally have no healthy safeties outside of these two guys. Who knows, man.

Although i think we're going to get trashed, i'm excited to see if Newman starts at Safety. I see that as an upgrade to Sendsucko and Antone "Headless Chicken" Exum Jr, and to see how Waynes goes as a starter. See theres a silver lining to everything!
The Barr and Joseph losses are a big deal. The fact we'll have to have another week of Tom "stick em up" Johnson, grabbing masks, doesnt fill me with joy. Especially with their explosive running game

@christomasson The #Vikings will be without four defensive starters Thursday in Harrison Smith, Andrew Sendejo, Linval Joseph and Anthony Barr. Robert Blanton is listed as questionable, so the Vikings could have three safeties. Scott Crichton is probable.
