Here we go what? He put this team together. People want to savage the offensive line, who brought them in, and then extended them? The complete lack of anything on defense? Big money free agent deals to guys who disappear?

And why do I get a warning for "baiting", but I bet the guy who made the Ponder comment to try and bait others in the first place didn't?

You were told exactly why you received a warning.

I shudder at the thought of Ponder playing in todays game. As bad as the offense looked today, it would've been worse with how bad Ponder deals with pressure.
So you do not think that the offense could have scored more than 3 points? Pretty moot point but TB played a really poor game IMO
frankly, I think thats absurd. I don't know what you wanted him to do in those circumstances.
There's no dodging the fact that Teddy was flat-out terrible today. The pick on that first drive was incredibly bad and had nothing to do with the o line.
there is no dodging the fact that there is not a QB in the league that could have performed well today behind our line. snap out of your Viking hatred and realize that nobody can play QB when you do not even have time plant your feet

No one on the OLine deserved an extension. I Was for Loadholt getting extended but IMO he has done nothing to say it was warranted. Every one of them sucks this year. They look confused, they look lost, and they look like they are so overmatched that it is embarrassing. They should be ashamed. Zimmer has his hands full with them. I have been very pro-Spielman, but this OLine situation he has given us is more than a little concerning.

O-line seems comfortable being terrible. There is no leader there.

Well, I don't even know what to say. This season has just been awful. All the hope and promise that was there in August seems like ages ago. All I can say is my hope for a rebound season looks diminished with each passing week.

It is so hard to be a fan of this team. Honestly, it is amazing that we all keep tuning in week after week only to be disappointed more often than not.

Lack of anything on defense? What are you even talking about? We held Detroit to 17 points and held Stafford to under 200 yards. To put blame on our defense this game is pretty ridiculous. And if you're talking about Linval Joseph, that's a joke. He had 3 tackles, 1 for loss, a sack and created penetration on multiple plays. Obviously you didn't watch the game very close if you're going to call him out. Just another attempt to whine and cry about Spielman with zero backing behind it.

Somebody tell me how many teams out there could CONSISTENTLY win after losing their starting QB, having to start Ponder once, and starting a young rookie, losing the face of your franchise in Peterson, losing your best offensive lineman in Fusco, and losing a pro bowl caliber TE???? Pretty much nobody. I'm not trying to make excuses but the Vikings offense RIGHT NOW looked nothing like how it did at the beginning of the season. Of course you have to "expect the worst" but that's EXTREMELY difficult to overcome.

Many are really underestimating the loss of Fusco as well. He was hands down our best lineman last year and without him, we have the two worst starting guards in the NFL right now which also IMO, makes Kalil and Loadholt look that much worse. Not saying he would revive the offensive line but he makes it that much better. It's the same line as last year and they weren't this bad. I highly doubt they all regressed THAT much. I mean how does our offensive line hold up THAT much better against one of the best front 4's in the league, if not the best in St. Louis with an immobile QB behind them??

Granted I hate losing and I'm not trying to say we are playing good because we aren't but some of the overreactions on here are ridiculous. 90% of them have no backing behind them other than "yeah he sucks". Sorry but I'm not buying it. This defense was THE WORST IN THE LEAGUE last year and is playing above and beyond what anyone expected so it really bothers me when I see overreacting, negative, antagonizing posters pointing the finger at them. Our struggle right now is the offense HANDS DOWN. The same offense that is starting a young rookie QB, lost its star RB, lost its best offensive lineman, and lost a big threat TE.

Cannot expect much but hope that we develop the kids.
Teddy will gain valuable experience but CP has to get the ball in his hands.
OL looks terrible, but they played the best DL In football! Davidson is not getting it done.
Losing Fusco really hurts it appears. We are terrible in the middle. Johnson and Ducasse are backups and get manhandled. Kalil looks like a LG or RT. Loadholt is very replaceable. Wish Richardson was healthy.
I think we expected a poor season, but thought it would be with Cassell. Bridgewater is the future and will be really good.
We have some young athletic talent, but we missed on a lot of really good football players in recent drafts.
Spielman may be on the hot seat too.

Also, in regards to Linval Joseph, he is currently the 10th highest payed DT in the NFL and has statistically outplayed everyone in the top 10 other than Suh and is about dead even with Gerald McCoy. Both of those guys are 3 technique DT's as well which are much more athletic and in turn, are expected to create more penetration. A 1 technique 323 lb defensive tackle with 21 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 3 stuffs at the line, 3 TFLs and 4 QB hits is quite solid and it shows he is NOT disappearing whatsoever. As I said before, another post by an overreacting fan that has ZERO backing. Maybe your eyesight is what's disappearing.

I was really disappointed with the way Teddy dealt with pressure today. It reminded me of Ponder. Some of those sacks were at least partly his fault. He needs to be more decisive, especially when the line is struggling. That first interception was unbelievably bad. There's only one positive thing that will come out of this game offensively and that is the fact that we likely won't have to see much of Asiata anymore.
So instead of taking into account the unbelievable amount of pressure from the Lions you just say Teddy played badly? When I started looking at the receivers I can't say too many receivers beat one on one coverage ano then with the pressure what do you have? Yeah, I would say the interception in the end zone was bad because Cordarelle didn't even have his man beat.

There's no doubt that it was a factor. The line was terrible (again). That doesn't change the fact that Teddy was also terrible.

I can't see what people are seeing when they say teddy was awful.
Considering he had no time to throw the ball and the receivers had no time to get open, I'd say he did ok. And yes the first int he did get a little over excited and threw a horror pass. Apart from that, I don't think the other INT's can be put at his door at all.
Because not only did he have no time at all to let plays develop, his receivers dropped numerous catches. Some weren't right in between the numbers yes, but no QB can hit them every time. QB's need help from receivers, from which he got none.
In fact, his completion percentage was pretty average, but if you include all the drops and broken down pockets where he's had to throw away, I bet his numbers would look pretty good.
Don't give up on him yet. He's the most promising qb we've had since #4, and I for one am quite excited to see how he pans out. If it all goes belly up, we can at least pick up Mariota with our no1 pick next year
If we're all going to jump on anyone, it should be this crumbling o-line.
