More importantly, the White Sox's 11-0 trouncing of the Twins pissed off the Twins. About a month ago, we were down by 4 1/2. Now we're up by 4 1/2.
By the way, I love that video of the Sox announcing team. I can't stand those guys. It's great to hear them speechless.

Did our starters skip a practice in the past week? Only Duensing has been able to keep the ball down. Slowey looks like he wants to lose today. He may as well be throwing underhand.

OMG who taught Span how to bunt? You don't shift your legs, you just shift your body. He's lucky he didn't get hurt more than he did.

Ullger you moron... You are worse than Childress. The Twins need to fire this baffoon. On a shallow fly ball to CF, he sends KUBEL??? Are you #### kidding me? Way to kill a rally. I just want to murder this moron sometimes.

Slowey and Mahay are on the DL and Slama and Blackburn are back up.

Ah crap. I have some hope that Blackburn can step in and pitch like he did early in the season, but I have almost no faith in that Slama kid. His ERA hovers around 10.
What to do with Slowey? He seems to be very injury prone.

Not good IMO. I still, for the life of me, dont get why we didnt bring in an arm before the trade deadline. We're in for a long stretch if we have to score 7-10 runs to win every night. And on the Kub fly ball, yeah, WTF, its like we had Span coaching the runners, lol.

Alright, another series win. Baker had a solid performance.
Watching the game tonight when Matsui came up to bat for the Angels, it occurred to me: have the Twins EVER had an Asian player? Twins have always had Hispanic players but I can't remember them ever having an Asian ballplayer.
No fault of theirs really, the Asian players seem to like playing for the teams on the coasts.

I wondered the same thing. I don't think so, unless they have some in their farm system.
Can anyone find Jesse Crains stats for the beginning of the season and split it up from the 2nd half? I can only think of one run he "allowed" and it was a batter he walked in TB that scored when Mahay gave up the GS to Bartlett. He has been unreal lately.

I liked the line up yester day, a lot! Add Morneau to that and it should be great!

I did too. No Punto helps ALOT (I really hope Gardenmoron is taking notice that the Twins have been so much better offensively since he went on the DL).

I just realized that the Twins play four games in Texas starting tonight. I would be satisfied with a split, but 1-3 or even 0-4 is more realistic, I'm afraid.

i think we'll get a split at least...maybe even win 3. no way we get swept imo. no one is playing better than the twins right now. teams are playing as good as us but no one is better, and i will eat my shoe if we get swept.

They way our starting pitching (except Duensing) is throwing, we'll have to score 8-10 runs to beat them........................I fear the bullpen will be worn out after these 4 games.
