I'll say it a 1000000000 times if I have to. As long as people know that Mike Evans did indeed bail out Johnny Manziel. :)
I think this is a little blown out of proportion. If Manziel had Evans or not....bottom line is, he's a playmaker. Are you going to say that Evans bailed out Manziel in 2012 too?? When Manziel actually won the Heisman?? No. Evans had a decent year but nothing near what he had this past year production wise. Johnny Manziel does not need Mike Evans in order to make plays and be himself. That includes running and throwing the ball.

Listen, by no means am I a Manziel fan (Personally, I don't really care for him at all as a person) but bottom line is, the kid is a damn playmaker and to sit there and say that Evans is the reason Manziel succeeds is pretty ridiculous. I mean Evans had 300 less yards and 7 less touchdowns in 2012 and Johnny Manziel won the Heisman. How does that work??

From an overall standpoint, Manziel does not need Mike Evans in order to succeed. He knows how to keep plays alive and make big time plays. That's just how he is. Did Evans help? Sure. But wherever Manziel goes, I'm sure he will have his fair share of weapons around him too so either way, he is going to have that extra help. Unless he goes to the black holes of Oakland or Jacksonville

As long as he doesn't get drafted to Minnesota. I will be happy regardless of what other team he goes to.

Really man? Posts like this are just stupid and childish. Anyone can just post something 20 times doesn't make it fact. If you want to convice people of it give some stats or video or something. Johnny had an elite weapon in Evans, what would you like him to do? not use him at all? that'd be more of a knock on him than relying on him in pressure situations. I just wanna show you how stupid saying this is...

Johnny Manziel (without Mike Evans)
Yards: 2720 TD's: 25

AJ McCarron (with everyone)
Yards: 3063 TD's: 28

So Johnny without Mike Evans is 300 yards and 3 tds behind McCarron (basically 1 game) and this is under the assumption that whoever took Evans place put up NO YARDS and NO TDS.

my second point is that you assume Evans is the only thing making Johnny a good passer and that McCarron is more of a distributor using all of his weapons instead of relying on one. Look at the stats of Manziels 2nd, 3rd, and 4th recievers compared to McCarron's 1st, 2nd and 3rd

A&M Recievers 2-4 YARDS TD's
#2 Derel Walker 818 5
#3 Malcome Kennedy 658 7
#4 Travis Labhart 626 8

Bama Recievers 1-3 YARDS TD's
#1 Amari Cooper 736 4
#2 Kevin Norwood 568 7
#3 DeAndrew White 534 4

So as anyone can see Manziel gets more yards and touchdowns to his 2nd 3rd and 4th recievers (none named Mike Evans) than McCarron to his 1st 2nd and 3rd. So stop with the stupid Evans bails out Manziel crap, he does more outside of Evans than McCarron does period.

My final point is that if you want to bring up "Bailed Out" McCarron had the 5th ranked defense in the nation. Manziel had the 109th. McCarrons running back had 1235 yards 6.0 AVG., 14 TD's. Manziels running back had 551 yards, 4.8 AVG., 10 TD's. To add to this Manziel had 200 more yards rushing and one less TD than his top running back. McCarron's head coach is 74–15 all time, has won 4 National Championships and is a 2x AP Coach of the Year. Manziels coach is 20–6 and has rode Manziels coat tails to any bit of success he's had. By definition Bailed out means you doing nothing and someone else comes to help you. as good as Evans is Manziel still has to get him the ball, often through double teams. McCarron only has to not utterly and completely piss the game down his leg to win, If he was asked to put the team on his back like Manziel was (and he will in the NFL) he'd #### his pants and throw checkdowns like a ponder clone (or lob it to Evans if he had that option), therefore if anyones being "Bailed out" its your boy AJ hands down.

These are some interesting facts. Some that I was unaware of. I guess NOW I can say that Manziel benefited from having bail out possession receivers to catch those ugly throws of his, most notably. There I But what does McCarron have to do with this topic? This is a thread about Manziel.

You must be jealous of McCarron. Jealous that unlike like JFB, AJ can win championships. Yes McCarron had a lot of help, so did JFB. McCarron's passes came out much nicer than Manziel. Sometimes underthrown but they were in places where the WR could still catch the ball. Manziel is not a pocket passer. Yes he has made passes in the pocket, but that isn't his bread in butter. The reason Manziel is able to find those WRs open is because of all the dancing he does in the backfield, someone is bound to get open eventually.

Now McCarron on the other hand, knows how to stay in the pocket and make plays, CONSISTENTLY.

But like a typical Bama hater, you hear all this excuses about how other teams don't have Nick Saban, or the top defense in the country. Full of excuses, that's why Bama is one the best teams in college football. We don't need a prima donna like Manziel to win.

Texas A&M probably isn't your favorite team to begin with. You probably cheer for some garbage team up north like the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Then you start watching other teams who actually have potential to make a championship run and see some overrated hype machine like Manziel and thinks he's the next big thing that's gonna come out of college.

See Manziel is the type of guy to give you highlights on espn to brag about. McCarron doesn't have highlights but he makes plays when he has to. Manziel is good up into that one game he needs to win to stay in the championship race.

Once this draft is over and the season has started. You will see that I was right about Manziel and you are wrong about McCarron.

I read, from you, how you got the cheerleader to notice you by going out for football, and even got lucky once in a while. No thanks leave me out of your Cheerleader fantacies :?
Try and objectively watch these highlights and then put your McCarron highlights up against him. You know JFB Heisman Trophy winner highlights. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oi0ij3CHjR0

Your jokes are pretty good tonight. I can appreciate a sense of humor! We are Vikings fans. We should all be equipped with one. :-)

I imagine your jokes aren't going to be so nice if we draft Manziel, though. I can just see it now. I know you, it'll be ugly. lol

I just read the Vikes are one of the favorites to get him. Ruh roh.

I just told you that McCarron doesn't make "exciting" plays like Manziel but he makes them when we has to.

If you want to compare something. Compare AJ's two National Champion highlights to Manziels.

"You know AJ McCarron national champion winner highlights."

Oh wait.......... Manziel doesn't have any!!!!

My favorite college team is FSU, you know the National Champions. I could not care less what A&M does, I do not even like them. What did Alabama do again last year? Let's see who gets drafted higher and has a better career.

FSU fan huh. Before or after the championship? Bama was on the brink of a going for a 3-peat but slipped up on a miracle FG return from Auburn in he final second. Yeah we had bad year. But when has FSU ever won back to back national titles??? How many do they have??? I bet not as nearly as this many.

And yes, I am fully aware that Manziel will get drafted higher. Getting drafted higher than someone doesn't guarantee a better career for the higher draft pick.

I have been an FSU fan my whole life. And in the last 20 years they both have won 3 national titles. But the one that counts most to me is the LAST one! You sound like a Packer fan talking crap about how many championships they have one  What have they done lately :o
