Treadwell's not going to separate with speed so throwing into tight windows will matter.

Hopefully, Treadwell will pay big dividends. I love that he was holding that Vikes jersey up in front of his daughter. :)
I like the family man mentality a lot. Hopefully we wont have to worry about off the field issues.

Im sure Teddy has heard 'pull the trigger' about 5 billions times this year. Hes just got get a little more comfortable in the pocket, with at least 1 more second on first and second downs, so they actually throw it on first down.

I wanted Doctson, and it pisses me off that Washington got him one pick ahead of us. Oh well. Win some, lose some.

If Treadwell can be a guy who wins 50-50 balls, he'll be a nice option for TB. Now TB just needs to pull the trigger.

Anyone else slightly annoyed at how many mocks get Rick's pick right? A ton of mocks had them taking Treadwell. Same with Waynes. I think Barr was one that most mocks missed but either people are getting better at their projections (top 10 picks say otherwise) or Rick's poker face is not so good.

Packers are still worthy of a trade watch here.

It's going to help having a receiver who he can have some trust in. A guy who can actually run good routes, come down with tough catches, find openings. Get off press. Would you really want to pull the trigger when you never know if the guy you're throwing the ball doesn't have a 50/50 chance against a defender? If they manage to pull their helmet out of their jock strap long enough to figure out where they are suppose to be.

At least we should have a better idea if Teddy is good enough for it to matter whether or not he pulls the trigger. Or if it might be a case of the team being better off that he didn't pull it more often.

Might be the only position on the team I'm not sure they had a viable NFL starter. The top guy on the depth chart was a 5th round rookie last year. Another case of a giant need opening up, and an early pick used to try and fill it with Wallace gone. If nothing else we get a guy who might end up being a game in and game out starter...and not a horrible first round bust who loses his job to a bad teams practice squad player who loses his job to a fifth round rookie who's starting next to a guy who was just acquired for a fifth round pick.

I like Treadwell. I'm just not sure he addresses the real problem. IF Bridgewater is willing to pull the trigger and can make the kind of throws he needs to make, Treadwell should be fine. If not, we're better at WR but still stuck with a weak passing game.

I'm way off book here, I know. I was looking at Treadwell, Lynch, Spriggs... there were some excellent defense players available too but I want a better passing game. Fingers crossed we'll see one.

I'm really serious about Lynch though. In a year or two, passing on him might look like a big mistake.
