I don't get how you return from the bye week and play like this. This is what I expected them to be like in 2012.

I've been basing my season and game predictions on the Vikings based on the premise that they're a good but flawed team. Nope. Just flawed.

A.P. & Walsh are our only two bright spots...radar55 wrote: this entire team sucks...offense...defense....coaching staff....you name it they suck

That's the definition - you figure it out. If a player spins the ball when no other opponent is around, then it's not taunting. But if you do it next to an opponent, then it's considered taunting. Not all that difficult to understand.yezzir wrote: Yes, because so many players have done that in the past. Ran over to an opposing player and spun the ball right at their feet. Please tell me more about this.

I agree, Breeze. It looks to me like an utter lack of coaching on both sides of the ball. They just look flat and uninspired. Predictable. Terrible. It's udder madness!
Re: Panthers @ VIkings Game Day Discussion Thread -- Week 6
Speaking of the last offensive series, down there in the redzone, I think that's where they should integrate Patterson or Webb. A big body that can go up and get the football. Those short yardage plays are not Simpson's forte, if you're going 3 WR, I would do Jennings, Wright, and Patterson/Webb. Those 3 combined with Rudolph gives you a lot of options and a lot for the defense to cover (speed, physicality, athleticism, etc.).

Spinning the ball at anytime is supposed to be unsportsmanlike conduct this year. Also using the ball for any celebration, e.g. pointing it for first down is also the same penalty.yezzir wrote: Yes, because so many players have done that in the past. Locke has been ok. Not great, but ok. But yeah, I can't think of anyone overachieving on the team this season like what happened last season.Odlid wrote: A.P. & Walsh are our only two bright spots...

Interesting, I would have said Cowher.Purplemania wrote: For me, someone that has a concept of TODAY'S game. That means no to these old school coaches like Cowher, Gruden, and even Dungy.

Marty Mornhinweg would be an improvement...headless_norseman wrote:Who do we want to coach this team next year?
