well, doesn't the fact that he made the interception prove that he was making a play on the ball????

I would agree if it was 3rd down, or maybe even if Diggs was Megatron.

But I don't think he should have tossed that up for grabs in that situation.....

Well, Diggs has been playing like Megatron. I also don't care what down it was. Norv wanted to be aggressive and throw it to a guy playing lights-out. We complain about the team not taking deep shots. Diggs was very close to pulling that one in. Slow-motion shows it going right through his arms and into the defender's chest.

He has been putting together some nice games, but Megatron he is not, and jump balls are not his specialty

I agree... I don't think throwing to one of your top receivers in the end zone, with single coverage is a reckless throw... it carries some risk, but you have a very good chance of success or a defensive PI. Just didn't work out this time.
