@KFAN1003: Leslie on Ponder: "he followed the game plan and did exactly what we needed him to do"

I disagree. If true, Frazier's game plan should be heavily questioned.

Apparently the gameplan was to throw a pathetic interception, throw for 91 yards, and hand the ball off to adrian 31 times

Wow... that's scary. The game plan is to expose Ponder as little as possible, apparently.

i started to feel bad for AP today. this guy is taking an absolute beating because our QB cannot make a play past 5 yards. he's the closest thing to immortal that i've ever seen, but how long can this be sustained?

I know. Imagine if AP had a qb like manning. That would be a super bowl for whatever team that was. Im afraid that AD will leave us for a better team, although I dont think that will happen anytime soon.

@TomPelissero: For those ripping Frazier for what he's saying about Ponder ... is it really that hard to believe they're not asking him to do much?

We're ripping him for putting the team in this position. Most good football teams don't hide their quarterback's lack of talent as an offensive strategy.

Frazier has zero say on who our QB is this season. True story. They (Spielman/Wilf) are all-in on Ponder this year.

So you want him to let Ponder rip and lose the game like last week?

Well, Frazier is "all-in", too... so he get to share in the glory of that decision.

No, I want him to bench the bum and let Joe Webb have a shot... this should have been done weeks ago, when we were still in serious playoff contention. It's almost a moot point now.

So let me get this straight. Ponder is still playing because we want to make sure he is/isn't the one, but we're going to limit how many times we allow him to drop back? How exactly does that work? Lets keep him from messing up these final 4 games so we can justify letting him start next year too? That's the plan? Great!

I don't know if this will make anyone feel better, but here are the QB's with worse Quarterback Ratings than Ponder this season:

Christian Ponder MIN 79.4
Michael Vick PHI 79.2
Blaine Gabbert JAC 77.4
Jake Locker TEN 77.0
Andrew Luck IND 76.1
Brandon Weeden CLE 72.3
Ryan Tannehill MIA 72.3
Mark Sanchez NYJ 71.4
Matt Cassel KAN 66.7
John Skelton ARI 64.4

That is actually a good point. However, Frazier is a conservative minded defensive coach and there is a mathematical possibility of getting a wildcard shot and Frazier is not going to "unleash" Ponder to throw away games. So, get used to seeing Tjoke offense 2.0 to try to hide the deficiencies.
I mean, hell, we even got a jump pass today from Ponder. Is he trying to remind us of Tjack.
