I don't think "ironic" is the word. "Miracle" would be more like it.
Again: Kevin Williams' remarks were not directed at Ponder. They were a smack in the face of a franchise and a front office that in recent years hasn't been able to find its own rear-end with both hands. The whole Ponder debacle was only the most egregious example of having no clue how to put together a winner.
Good for him. Nobody in Minnesota seems willing to say it.

I wouldn't go that far. If it happens, they certainly wouldn't be the first Super Bowl winner to fail to qualify for the postseason a year later. Heck, it's already happened several times in this century.

Ponder just comes off as a dimwit. The book smart type, but completely clueless with instincts.
What Williams said was completely true. Now that he's gone, he's airing frustration. Not completely commendable in his approach, but it's whatever. Not that big of a deal.

I really hope they aernt wasting any time on this turd anymore. Cassel and Teddy should get all the reps. Hes not even backup QB talent. Teddy needs a ton of reps everyday, along with a 100,000 calorie day, and 5 hours in the weight room.

Of course he did not take any blame for the losses. As I said, I wish him well but he will most likely be joining his buddy Winnfield watching football at home in the very near future.
