Screw that waiting stuff, if Bridgewater's the best QB in camp / preseason / day 1, I want him out there! Seattle could have just rode with Matt Flynn after drafting Russell Wilson but Wilson was the best QB on the team! If that's the case I want Bridgewater playing!

If he's not the best QB on the roster or he needs more time with the playbook, things aren't clicking on all cylinders, etc, then fine let it rip with Cassel.

Not gonna lie I wanted Manziel, but I didn't know some of this stuff about Bridgewater. The private workout he had with our coaches and how he looked great erases the crappy pro day imo. He's a hell of a consolation prize that's for sure!

He'll be more than fine by the time he plays a game. And he doesn't play like some idiot red neck trying to get his #### killed.

Stayed up till 6am praying that we went defense at #8, stayed away from Manziel and traded up for Teddy.
A day of being a zombie was completely worth it!

being from Louisville, I've paid very close attention to TB5. Freakin love that guy, so humble, and to think hes goin to my favorite team, its like a dream...after we picked Barr i was convinced we let him go, i would hold my breath after every pick, thinkin oh no, it was getting nerve rackin... then Seattle pops in.. knowin they owe us a bone after Vikings 2.0 won the SB for em. haha... Gave us the pick... i SWEAR to god, i was on my knees with tears in my eyes, praying to let it be him...

you guys have no idea the kind of heart this kid has, and if you watched Gruden's Camp on ESPN, it will blow your mind how smart he really is with x's and o's. hes on some...other level, im having trouble comparing it too... you guy seen what he did to Florida in the Sugar Bowl and Rutgers with a Broken Wrist... and Miami this year. I've got tears in my eyes thinking about that 1st spring practice, his freshman year, i sat with my wife and said, i could only dream that he would be a Viking.. Dreams do come true guys, they really do, we found our FRANCHISE. And all he wants to do is win.

TRUST MY WORDS! L1C4 All Day!

However, I believe that it is pivotal that we under no circumstances allow Teddy Bridgewater to play a game next season 'Barr'ing some unforeseen injury to both Cassel and Ponder. Give Teddy a chance to learn Norv's offense and he has all the potential to be a pro bowl QB.
Seriously?!? He should be the starter game 1. We don't have a legitimate starting QB, why on earth would you not let him compete for the starting spot?

People, please temper your enthusiasm. :nono: I am afraid that the Vikings reached here and with Barr. I cannot believe that Norv wanted TB. Good Grief.

I wasn't in love with any of these guys this year, but TB was my favorite of the crop. I never thought we could get him this late in the first, without giving up a lot more than we did to move, so I was pretty sure I wanted to grab Garrapolo or Murrey somewhere in 2nd or 3rd. That being said, when they traded, picked Bridgewater to close out the draft. I did not get that sinking feeling I got when we picked Ponder 3 years ago. The impending doom feeling. Im hoping that is a good thing, and that my Spidey sense really is real

Well, looks like I am rooting for Bridge to nowhere. Mark my words, passing up on the guy with huge hands is gonna come back and bite us in the a$$.

Also don't forget, by picking him 32nd, he's now under contract for 5 years rather than 4 like everyone being taken tomorrow.

This guy has a High Football IQ, and I wouldn't be upset if they take him at 8. My vote is based on the landscape, I think they can get him later and still use #8 to get another player.

The Vikes and Titans at 11 are the last teams that have a dire QB need before pick 20 Cardinals and 26 where Cleveland picks again. If they pass on a QB at 8 it could force the Remaining QB's to Fall into the late first where the Vikes could trade back in to get him or another QB if they like. Also I don't believe Arizona or Cleveland are into Bridgewater.
Ten years in I had to get something right.... now ignore my post in the User Mock draft thread where I said they'd take Manziel at 8 and we're good.

I am glad we got him late and not at the number 8th spot... I am hoping he has a full year to prepare
and come in fully prepared to win games for us.
