As for getting the most out of Harvin... the Vikings certainly got more out of him than Seattle has so far.[/quote]

I'm not sure about that that. Seattle used him to help win a Lombardi Trophy. What did we use him for?

I completely understand why Harvin wanted out of the Ponder/Frazier dynasty. Good for him.

Technically correct, although T-Jack's contribution was less-than-lengedary.....

I guess you could throw Brett Favre's name in there, although his ring was acquired prior to his coming here.

Percy Harvin made a contribution last night but I don't think the Broncos would've did anything whether Harvin returned that kick for a TD or not. The Seattle defense was way too stingy last night. Pansy Harvin still made some plays though, can't take that away from him despite how bad I dislike him.

Dont Worry, T-Jack will probably lose his ring. He is gret at fumbing/throwing things away.....its a crime he even got to touch one

as for Harvin...He gave it his all with our Vikes, we just had a crappy coach and even worse QB, so his talents were wasted. Sadly, AP is in the same boat. I can't hate on Harvin. OUR GM is the one to blame for Keeping a loser like Ponder and giving up on Harvin. we pick the wrong talent.

Get one thing straight. Harvin gave up on the Vikings. Not the other way around. Harvin forced his way out. Don't re-write history.

Yup, they used the heck out of him. Harvin's contribution to the Seahawks on getting to and winning the Lombardi.

Regular season.

1 game. 1 catch, 17 yards. 1 KO return 58 yards.

Playoffs.

2 games, 4 catches 26 yards, 3 rushes 54 yards 1 KO return for 87 yards and TD.

And it only cost Seattle $4.9 million. $20,248 per yard. What deal.

Maybe next year his other hip will hurt. Anyone want to bet he doesn't play 16 games in 2014?

I won't touch that bet but I will bet that Flash has a better season than Harvin by a country mile

It just appeared to me that PHarvin "flew" across the screen. When healthy, he's a heck of a player. Correct, he did nothing to help Seattle "get" to the SB, but once in, his legs and hips gained some important yards. Being happy for him or angry with him is natural for Vikings fans. All in all, we all want someone, anyone, to help get the Vikes back in the big game.

Addendum: A previous comment stated that the Broncos looked like the Vikings in their Super Bowls, a team that just didn't show up. I was just a little, little kid back then and don't actually remember much more than the big Oakland plays. Did the Vikings really look as abysmal as all that? I guess I need to find a way to get the games again. I'd love to watch them with my Dad. We'd help each other through the memories and pain!
