What happened to Robinson? At first he seemed like a good pick and was doing ok. It seems like we have trouble finding a good Corner... Could it be coaching or is it just bad luck?DanAS wrote: This is one of the problems with rating a GM based on the number of draft picks who start. Just because Robinson and Ponder start doesn't make them good picks. It's an obvious point, yet there are those who still judge a productive draft years later based on who remains on a team and who starts. Crazy.

The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

Those photos are startling! That is REALLY blatant. Did they have soccer officials for that game?!
Probably the most frustrating part of being a Vikings' fan over the last several years - other than some really bad QB play at times - has been the defense's inability to stop the other team consistently. When was the last time the Vikings had what you would call a really good defense that you had confidence in? Early 90s with Doleman and Millard? My gosh, it seems like it's been forever!
The two best Viking teams we've seen since probably the Tarketon/Foreman days were the '98 and '09 squads. Both teams won mostly because of high powered, high scoring offenses. Even those teams had defenses that you didn't really have a lot of confidence in. At least I didn't. Such as in the '98 NFCC game! Everybody always blames GA and the miss, but the Vikings still had the lead and couldn't hold it. And you KNEW they wouldn't.
Nothing makes my blood pressure go up faster than watching the other team just march down the field with ease series after series. Even on a third and very long, you just know they're going to convert. And no lead EVER seems safe. I'm soooo excited when the Vikings actually force a punt because it seems to have become such a rare occurence.
