Ponder just doesn't look comfortable to me. He drops back, feet are shifting, he's not setting up and throwing smoothly. When he does release he's just short-arming the throw. His completions and attempts are all short.
49ers have a good defense and their starters are out so I get it, but I don't see a guy who has a command of the field right now.
On the bright side, the offensive line and run blocking are better already. They're doing a nice job against a good front 7. That's encouraging.
