Kind of off topic, but I wonder how RG3 would be as a backup, project QB. I know most teams dont have have a real good backup, the Vikes havent since I have been a fan (that I can think of).

We are outplaying them in every aspect, even if by just a little. Let's keep it up.

Dungy is right, first half has set up the read option and play action for Seattle.

Griffen needs to be aware of the read option, not run by it. so far so good.

It's so hard for a DE. He's guessed wrong a couple of times but man, how do you pick right? Coin flip in your head?Husker Vike wrote:Griffen needs to be aware of the read option, not run by it. so far so good.

Walsh hit some longer ones against NYG. Its an interesting question though.
The Devil whispered in the Viking's ear, "There's a storm coming." The Viking replied, "I am the storm." #SKOL2018

I would like that if he was cheap. However I think he may get a starting shot somewhere.PurpleKoolaid wrote:Kind of off topic, but I wonder how RG3 would be as a backup, project QB. I know most teams dont have have a real good backup, the Vikes havent since I have been a fan (that I can think of).

He was beat so I don't think he was in a position to look where the ball was. My guess is he was reading Lockett's eyes until it was too late. He couldve played it a lot better initially but I don't think he had a chance avoiding the PI.

Who would have thought we would hold Seattle to ZERO points in the first half...Good job D

Re: Seahawks @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread - Wild Car
Last time Russell Wilson ran the ball, he got creamed and did not get the 1st down. Need to hit him hard if he decides to run again.
