@ArifHasanNFL: "You could ask coach Zim [about starting] - we have Terence Newman, Captain Munnerlyn and Josh Robinson. Corners take time to develop"

When was the last time this happened?
@Andrew_Krammer: Spielman: "He's not going to be pushed to start...when he's ready, he's ready." Said #Vikings have "luxury" of depth at CB

Now would be a good time for CC to break his gag order.

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
Can anyone see us trading back into the first round for any player now? I can't.
I trust Rick and Zim. Didn't like the pick originally (it felt like a need pick, not BPA), but if those two do, I'm feeling more comfortable. ...Or they could just be blowing smoke about having offers to move down but really liking Trae.

That's not bad. Rhodes got the same treatment, in essence, and I like the way that one is working out so far.dead_poet wrote:When was the last time this happened?

Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
hmmm, maybe I had already signed up, idr. I distinctly remember posting for the first time here when we traded for Harrison Smith because everyone was losing their mind, and I had defend the one player I wanted in that draft. Smith was my boy.HardcoreVikesFan wrote: Not saying you said anything about Ponder.
However, if you truly joined in March of 2011 you were here when Ponder was drafted.Just a joke.

I havent felt this bad about a pick since we got #7. Very surprised Rick didnt try and farm out Gordon. I must really be missing something, because Waynes only looked good when he had time to catch up to the WR, because he couldnt handle the moves.

It was just a little poking fun haha. Smith was a favorite of mine as well.saint33 wrote:

Spielman on whether he's done dealing tonight: "99% sure you can safely go to sleep, we don't have the picks we had in recent years to move"
Re: 2015 NFL Draft thread
He's solid on go routes. Provided he has the awareness to get his head around and not draw a flag.PurpleKoolaid wrote:I havent felt this bad about a pick since we got #7. So, uh, there's that. I guess.
