I want him to take more shots too, but I'd rather get 3 points than throw a pick in that situation. We'll have to wait for film guru Jim to see whether or not his read(s) was/were kind of covered or "it would've been stupid to throw that ball even if you were Tom Brady or Peyton Manning" covered. Just don't know.purplehaze wrote: No balls, no babies. We really do not know if he would have thrown an interception do we? It is the point of trying. We already have a proven track record of the check down.
So is your grandma. Kyle is known for his hands. He is super super slow. Didnt he run one of the slowest in the combine?A.D_blazing wrote:Carlson is faster then Rudolph!

You really think Frazier told Musgrave to call a play that had Ponder throw a check-down on third-and-goal? Seems to me Musgrave has been giving Ponder a lot of faith today throwing more passes past the LOS than I've seen most of the year (likely no Harvin has something to do with that).PurpleKoolaid wrote: Hes too afraid to go for TDs. Honestly, what are the chances he throws a pick on a given play? Can't be a very high percentage. How about a fade to Simpson? The risk of going for 7 is is outweighed by the potential reward. 3 points over and over gets you killed.dead_poet wrote: I want him to take more shots too, but I'd rather get 3 points than throw a pick in that situation. Tom Pelissero on TwitterMake it 23-of-29 passing, 201 yards, 107.0 rating for Christian Ponder through three. It's almost like they shouldn't give up on him.
