I honestly don't know why that wasn't an illegal block on Thomas. Way past 1 yard and could have been a blindside block.

beyond one yd downfield any contact initiated by a receiver is PI. way wrong to pick up the flag. not to mention defenseless player.

But WRs still can't block past 1 yard downfield before the ball is caught, right?

It was two plays in a row where their WR or TE was blocking downfield was past 1 yard. Hope Zimmer is in their ear about that ####.
